Truths about MIT-WPU

The college has a vibrant college life.Theres no doubt in it.It has all the facilities and has availablity of playing all kinds of indoor and outdoor sports
The colleges has lots of cafes and mess and canteen areas.No worry of eating.Also it has a very big library of 5floors including study area and all kinds of books are available.Students can also borrow the books and return at date issued accordingly.
The faculty is very good.Students are able to personally connect through faculty via their number.

Dislikes

There is a different building for department of computer science but the classes are located on top floors so students use lift but it gets very crowded for using lift facilites making it diffcult to go on floors.
I felt that the offical communication between students and college is not managed properly.Whatsapp groups are being created for each and every subject and other stuffs.They should make channels on telegrams instead.

Placement Experience:

Students generally get eligible to placement from 6th semester. Some top Companies for cse placemnt which comes are Zs associates,Morgan stanley,tcs,wipro and barclays. Highest package was around 54lpa Average is around 7 lpa There is around 80%median placements.Some students opt for masters abroad. My plan is though to prepare for placement currently but lets see what happens maybe opting for masters could be a plan B.

Almost 80% of pune population is in MIT-WPU

Likes

The Technology is used as per expected which is required for teaching
The staff is so good, as all her PDF educated.
The events and other activities make us more opportunistic

Dislikes

Theres no such thing i could mention as everything is good in this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good, even our departure is more like site or field work, its treated as professional which is good. They give some task which i dont think any other college would give and this task helps us to find our door.

MIT WPU is an outstanding college that i truly apprieciate.The college Offers a vibrant and inclusive academic enviornment
The faculty heere is highly qualified, approachable and always willing to support students in my academic Journey .
Its infrastructure is modern and well equipped with state-of -the art labs , Libraries, and smart classroom .

Dislikes

There are not many things that i can add in disliking the college as its a very good college but i will say the management team of the college is little weak

Placement Experience:

Student become eligibble for compus placements from third year. There are many companies who had came to MIT WPU like Nvidea, CJ , who are offering a pretty good pacakge . Giving the highest package of 51 LPA and average package of 7 LPA. Around 75% of students get placement from MIT WPU.

MIT WPU : The Reality

Likes

The campus and the infrastructure is very nice and the college and invested alot into it.
College takes initiative for students to come togther and celebrate events.
The faculty is usually really nice and understanding and they teach decent.

Dislikes

You need to have mandatory attendance of 80%
Little bit of bias towards certain students whom the professors like.
Exams finish later than other colleges, almost like 20 days later.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually pretty average of 7-10LPA and usually students with CGPA of 7-9 sit for the campus placements. I would say around 40% students get placed decently. If no campus placement, the course is so diverse that you can easily get jobs if you have the skills.

MIT-WPU is world class!!

Likes

Supportive faculties, decent infrastructure and a very handy placement cell makes MIT-WPU one of the best engineering colleges in Pune.
Critical thinking and practical learning is how academics are conducted here.
University location is so well that all parts of Pune City are connected via city bus and metro.

Dislikes

Still ranks into tier-2 private university.

At MITWPU a lot of vested interest is shown by large IT names like Google, Oracle, NVIDIA and Infosys to name just some. Over 100 IT names and startups which are on the verge of becoming a multi million dollar enterprises are the ones which comes and takes students from here.

Everything you should know about MIT-WPU

Likes

The overall environment of the campus and facilities provided are Top Notch .
The crowd is is very good .Intake is also not a lot
The exposure you get as there are many events, clubs, and fir placement also many companies come.

Dislikes

There are very less sports opportunities .

4th Year student are eligible for Placement. The placement percentage in our college is about 100% and as of Internship from 3rd year 5th sem students can Apply for internships and in 4th year 6months internship is compulsory for everybody. Internship and placement are provided by the college to all those who are eligible.

The Mit Review

Likes

the infrastructure is very nice the buildings are well designed
the faculties are also all educated and are friendly
the boys girl ratio is also pretty good almost equal in class

Dislikes

the attendance policy you have to maintain 80 percent attendance
the hostel facilities the hostel for boys is 11 km away from the college
the nature of the staff working as cleaning staff they have unneccesary attitude

Placement Experience:

yes pplacements are offered many companies come and hire from this college the average package is around 7 lpa but it is incresaing every and placement percentage is around 80 and it is also increasing with time

THE PLACEMENT RATIO IS AVERAGE ALMOST 70 80 PERCENT STUDENTS GET PLACED ON THE BASIS OF THEIR ACADEMIC SCORE AND YOUR SKILL .ALTHOUGH IT IS ALL UPTO YOU HOW YOU UTILIZE YOUR 4 YEARS OF DEGREE AND THEN YOULL GET PLACED THERE ARE COMPANIES VISITS MIT BUT LAST YEAR OR SOMETIMES DUE TO SOME MARKET ISSUES COMPANIES ARE NOT ABLE TO REACH OUT THE COLLEGES SO IT IS TOTALLY UPTO YOU. NOW COME TO THE PLACEMENT RATIO ITS VARIES EVERY YEAR BUT OVERALL ITS PRETTY GOOD

nice environment technical staff and high opporunities
best college life mixed friends and lots of greenry you know what i main
teachers are good unlike some hod they are f* like 80 % attendence or detain

Dislikes

80% attendence rule that really made half colllege detain in subjects
fees it too high likely double of other colleges
hostels are not in campus they are like 7 or 14 km far but they have buses

Placement Experience:

there placements in my dept over 70% studnts placed and rest left for higher studeis or gotlaced off campus compianis offer avaerage 5 to 7 lpa and highest offer is 22 lpa my plan are to make sure to creak gate and secuire job in psus

I loved the campus. It's so happening and lively. We have events like BCS, AAROHAN, SLDP, RIDE ETC in which peokle like aman gupta, CM Fadavnis, pranit more, karan kanchan etc have visited and performed/talked in the events.
The students club here are in a vast variety which gives us the perfect way to join any club as per our need and preferences.
The faculty is very understanding and helpful.

Dislikes

The management could be a bit better and faster.
The college provides courses which we have to complete online but we being beginners and Students dont have little to no idea on how to begin these course. I'll appreciate if the college helps with the same have

Placement Experience:

WE have a decent placement. Students from my course get placed anywhere between 6-30 L per annum as a fresher. Considering the whole engineering department we have the highest package of 84L+ per annum by google given to a student from our college
