Likes
- This course is the best course, and the package at the end is the maximum in computer science.
- Yes, an internship is good; they have the choice to choose from a list of 300+ companies.
Dislikes
- Fees increase by 15% each year, which is not good for economically weaker students. The merit scholarship amount is also less, and income verification should improve as well, as some people take advantage of that.
- We learn a lot about different cultures from them. There is no discrimination whatsoever. No one is taunted for being of a minor religion, caste, or background. Everyone here is equal. Though there can be discrimination based on CGPA, which can be annoying sometimes.

Placement Experience:
Single degree students are eligible in 7th semester and dual degree students are eligible in 9th semester for sitting in the placements. All the big companies including FAANG/MAANG companies visit here. Highest package around 60LPA and average around 18LPA. Around 70% students placed recently. Sitting for placements after degree.

The placement is great. The average package is 30 lacs and the median is 30 lacs too. We have Practice School 1 and Practice School 2 which are basically internships, after 2nd and 3rd year respectively.

- Beautiful campus and free campus life; could pursue any hobby and it becomes so much better with friends

- Bad grading in math courses and difficult courses in general as compared to other branches
- Campus too far from the major cities making travel very expensive
Placement Experience:
Students can sit for placements in their final year. Many companies visit the campus for hiring drives. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Rubrik, Uber etc. These are some of the biggest IT names in the industry. There are companies that come for corre recruitment too. The highest and average packages are kept confidential. But if rumours are to be trusted, the highest package domestic is around 80lpa Atlassian whereas the average is around 24L for IT and 17L overall. More than 90% of the batch gets placed usually. I plan to work in the IT industry for a while. After that, I plan to go for Masters's's in Business Administration. It is all a plan for now, nothing is set in stone.

Nearly every company visits the campus. Students in their 4th year sit for the placements(5th year for dualities). The average package of the college is around 18LPA, and there is 100% placement. Students go for Practise school (PS) to gain industrial exposure(PS-1 after end of first year and PS-2 in the final year)

Placements are one of the best in the country. There is a good mix of tech and nontech companies coming on campus. The Internship program helps you get immersed in the corporate culture and come out ready for the outer world.

Placement percentage ranges from 93-99 %.Average package is 16.5 lacs highest package was 1.4 crore in a foreign company.Every big company you can think mostly visits the college.After getting the degree students sit for campus placement, go for higher degrees and start their start ups. BITS has exceptional environment for start ups.
Remarks:
I chose K.K. Birla Goa campus over all other colleges because of its no reservation and zero attendance policy. The BITS Pilani campus has a well-planned campus, libraries and hostels. It also offers a unique concept where students can take tutorials from their various teachers. Its cultural event Grubs is quite popular in engineering students
Remarks:
BITS PILANI was the best private engineering University and also had a great alumni network. And to be honest, IIT hila ni, isilye BITS PILANI. So yeah. About the course, i had to fill in a preference list ( courses) and allotment was based on my BITSAT marks. I had M.Sc economics about Maths in the list but my marks could only get me Maths. The college has a good Maths department so in the end, it was a good experience
Remarks:
Bits is the only college in india which is in the league of old IITs. Its one of the best engineering colleges in India. It has the institute of eminence tag from government of India. Bits tag help in lot of places, jobs, masters. Placements are also good.
