BITS is placed 22nd in India and 215th in Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024. The test is administered for admission into M.E./M.Pharm programs of BITS Pilani. You can get into M.E. courses of the University with a valid GATE 2024/2023/2022 score. Similarly into M.Pharm. course with a valid GPAT 2024/2023/2022 score.
BITS HD 2024 has been divided into different tests. The test I includes a total 30 questions and must be andwered within 45 minutes. It is compulsory for each and every aspirants and includes questions from cire Mathematics and English Language Skills and Logical Reasoning. Test II is for students applying to all Higher Degree programs except those who are applying for M.E. in Environmental Engineering and M.E. in Software systems.
The time allotted for test II is 105 minutes with 70 questions in total.The time allotted for this test is also 60 minutes with 50 questions total. For all the aforementioned tests, each correct answer dwells +3 marks, and -1 mark deduction per incorrect attempts.
BITS HD 2024 Iteration 1 result is based on the GATE/GPAT scores only for counselling and was released on April 27, 2024. On the other hand, Iteration 2 and 3 were based on both BITS HD and GATE/GPAT score. The dates of Iteration 2 was June 07, and for Iteration 3 the tenataive date is July 08, 2024. In the process of making final admission offers to the M.E. / M.Pharm. Programmes, two separate merit lists will be prepared for each program. One will be based on GATE/GPAT score, and the other based on marks obtained in BITS HD test. Up to 50% of the seats in each program will be filled by GATE/GPAT results, and the remaining 50% will be determined by BITS HD test results.

BITS HD 2024 Application Form
For appearing in the entrance examination, it is mandatory for students to fill the application form. Students can obtain BITS HD 2024 Application Form in online mode by visiting the institute’s official website. The application process has begun and will continue till April 19, 2024. Students can fill the application form by following these steps:
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official website of BITS.
- Search for the online application form link.
- Fill the application form by entering the student’s name, qualification details, father’s name, mother’s name, address, email ID, etc.
- Candidates who wish to write BITS HD Test are to give their preference for three Test center
- Click on the Submit button.
- Students are advised to download and take the printout of filled in an application form for future reference.
Step 2: Pay Application Fees
- Students have to submit the application fees of amounting to INR 3400 at the time of application form submission.
- Those who wish to be considered through GATE/ GPAT score must pay an application fee of INR 1000

BITS HD 2024 Test II Pattern

- No marks will be awarded or deducted for un-attempted questions.

Special Test for M.E. Environmental Engineering
This special test for Environmental Engineering is required for only those students who are applying for M.E. Environmental Engineering. A total number of 50 questions are asked in this paper which should be completed in 60 minutes. Questions in the test are of objective type multiple choices. For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded, while for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
