BITS Pilani has released the BITS HD 2025 Iteration 5 on August 11, 2025. The admission offers will be available on the official website – bitsadmission.com. The last date for payment of fees by shortlisted candidates is August 18, 2025.
The announcement of admission offers is based on BITS HD test, GATE, and GPAT exam.
Download BITS HD 2025 Iteration 5 – Out
BITS HD 2025 exam was conducted from May 26 to June 1, 2025. The exam is conducted for two papers – Test I and Test II. The test I includes a total 30 questions and must be andwered within 45 minutes. The time allotted for test II is 105 minutes with 70 questions in total.
For all the aforementioned tests, each correct answer dwells +3 marks, and -1 mark deduction per incorrect attempts. It is compulsory for each and every aspirants and includes questions from the CIRE Mathematics and English Language Skills and Logical Reasoning. Test II is for students applying to all Higher Degree programs except those who are applying for M.E. in Environmental Engineering and M.E. in Software systems.
BITS is placed 22nd in India and 215th in Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025. The test is administered for admission into M.E./M.Pharm programs of BITS Pilani. You can get into M.E. courses of the University with a valid GATE 2025/2024/2023 score. Similarly into M.Pharm. course with a valid GPAT 2025/2024/2023 score.

The candidates must have passed an integrated degree of BITS or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks. You can get into M.E. courses of the University with a valid GATE 2025/2024/2023 score. BITS HD 2025 Application Form
For appearing in the entrance examination, it is mandatory for students to fill the application form. Students can obtain BITS HD 2025 Application Form in online mode by visiting the institute’s official website. The application process has begun and will continue till April 19, 2025. Students can fill the application form by following these steps:
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official website of BITS.
- Search for the online application form link.
- Fill the application form by entering the student’s name, qualification details, father’s name, mother’s name, address, email ID, etc.
- Candidates who wish to write BITS HD Test are to give their preference for three Test center
- Click on the Submit button.
- Students are advised to download and take the printout of filled in an application form for future reference.
Step 2: Pay Application Fees
- Students have to submit the application fees of amounting to INR 3400 at the time of application form submission.
- Those who wish to be considered through GATE/ GPAT score must pay an application fee of INR 1000

- Students can submit only one form for higher degree admissions.

Students are advised to check all the information written on the admit card carefully before downloading it. In case of any discrepancy, students must contact the higher authorities and get it rectified as soon as possible.

- The total time duration to complete Test 1 is 45 minutes.

BITS HD 2025 Test II Pattern
- Test 2 must be completed in 105 minutes.

- This test is only for those students who are applying for ME software systems programs at BITS.
- A total number of 50 questions are asked in this paper which should be completed in 60 minutes.
- Questions in the test are of objective type multiple choices. For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded, while for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
- No marks will be awarded or deducted for un-attempted questions.

Special Test for M.E. Environmental Engineering
This special test for Environmental Engineering is required for only those students who are applying for M.E. Environmental Engineering. A total number of 50 questions are asked in this paper which should be completed in 60 minutes. Questions in the test are of objective type multiple choices. For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded, while for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
