The placements are very good because we have two compulsory internships called practice school to make us industry ready after the second year summer for 2 months and one semester in the 4th or 5th year placements start since 7th semester itself were most get offers in PPO thright the internships. 248 companies visited along with 631 students placed the average is 2083000 and median is 1650000. 76 percent of students got placed highest was 80lpa. I plan to get a job
Likes
- Infrastructure is Well designed. All lab equipments work and are in good condition. Air conditioners work well in both lecture theatres and classrooms. Auditorium is also big and noise doesn't echo
- Some faculty members are very good. Others do not make a lot of effort in providing study material. Zero attendance policy comes handy here as you can skip their classes and study on your own.
Dislikes
- Exams are packed throughout the semester. Every month there will be either a quiz/midsem/compre(finals). Every week, there are evaluative labs which reflect on the CGPA so you have to constantly study.
- Not a lot of hostel facilities like a pantry. Kettles, iron are not allowed.

The campus offers two internships(Practice Schools 1 and 2) after the second and third years. Most companies give PPO in PS2. The average of the Circuital branch is 20 lpa. And for IT it is 31lpa. A lot of companies visit the campus. The placement cell is very active.

The college has one of the most impeccable placement statistics in the country. Numerous companies recruit from the college not only for Jobs, but also for internships. The median and average package for the college is well above 20 lakhs per annum.
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible from 4th year to sit for placements(except if you get an SIP and a PPO after that). Every company in India which hires students from colleges come to this college except for mass recruiters which the placement unit avoids to bring. The number of offers made last year was around a 1500. The highest package was 80LPA and the average being 24LPA The percentage of students getting placed is around 90% because a lot of students go for further studies I plan to work for 3-4 years to gain some experience and then go for a MBA afterwards in Germany

Companies like Amazon, Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple visit for campus placements. Average packages are around 30 lakhs Rs, and highest packages go up to 1 crore. Most of the students get placed. My plans after getting BE degree is to do masters.

- Grading system is very difficult and average CG's are low

So Students are exposed to Summer Internships from their 5th semester where they can also get Ppo's While the placement cycle is different from all colleges students can only sit in one semester of the two in the fourth year, and they get to chose which semester they want to their placement to be in, and the other semester they have to go for the Practice School, which is sort of like a summer internship and is compulsory Companies include Google, DeShaw, Sprinklr, Schlumberger, JSW, Viacom, BCG, Jpmc, Zs associated...and is a very long list mostly they take 5-10 students for each company Highest Package offered was 80Lpa by Sprinklr and average package is 21Lpa for all branches and 15lpa for mechanical engineering and 27lpa for Cse more than 85% students sitting in placement get placed I want to sit for non core placements and then consider MBA or business

Avg Package for CSE is around 25LPA, almost 81% placed this year. My plan is to start a start up after getting my degree

BITS Goa placements are good for Chemical Engineering. During recent placement drive, students of Chemical received the highest CTC of around INR 25 LPA. While the lowest CTC offered was INR 10 LPA. The placement average for the branch is around 99%. Schlumberger, ExxonMobil, Reliance, Shell, etc. were some of the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive.
What is the average pay package for BITS Goa CSE?
According to the placement reports of BITS Goa, the average annual package for the B.E. Computer Science and M.Sc. Computer Science students was around 13-15 lakhs per annum for the year 2021. The INR 43.3 LPA package offered during BITS Goa placements in 2021 was consistent with the previous year. The number of students placed increased by 28% in comparison to 2020. Media reports indicate that Microsoft was the leading recruiter, offering the highest salary package of INR 43.3 LPA to seven students, while Google followed close behind, offering the second-highest package of INR 33.1 LPA to ten students. BITS Pilani does not release an official placement report. However, according to my friends at the institute, the average CTC offered at the institute is 5 LPA and the highest CTC offered is INR 1.4 crores.
How are the foreign placements at BITS Goa?
One of my friends is an alumnus of BITS Goa and he was able to provide the recent placement information of the institute.
For the year 2020 around 249 companies visited the BITS Pilani Goa campus recruiting various students for various roles. Some of the biggest tech companies that recruited from the campus include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Oracle, Apple, and many more.
The highest international package which the campus got was INR 1.4 crores. This is comparable to many top IITs of the country. However, you should keep in mind that very few, around 5-7, students from the top 20 engineering colleges in India get international offers. Also, most of the offers are for computer science students.
Which is better, electrical engineering at MNNIT Allahabad or ENI at BITS Goa, placement wise?
Both MNNIT Allahabad and ENI at BITS Goa are highly ranked technology colleges offering amazing placement opportunities to their students. NIRF ranked BITS Goa at 17th in the University category, whereas MNNIT was ranked at 48 for B.Tech in India 2020.
MNNIT’s last year placement ranking has seen a rise in the pay packages and the best placement record of almost 97%. BITS Goa on the other hand holds a stellar placement record of 100% since its inception. - Almost 285 companies visited MNNIT for campus recruitments including top tier companies such as Adobe, Accenture, Deloitte, Dell, BPCL, etc.
- 792 students out of 1174 were successfully placed in some of the top companies with the highest package offered in 2019 being INR 36 Lakhs (Per Annum)and the average package offered was 7.82 Lakhs (Per Annum).

- BITS Goa is renowned for the amazing placement opportunities that it has in store for the students. Ever since the institute has been established it has a 100% placement record.
- Some of the top recruiter companies visiting there campus are Facebook, Wipro, Google, Genpact, Infosys, and Schlumberger. In the year 2019, the highest package offered was INR 35 Lakhs (Per Annum), whereas the average salary offered was INR 11.47 Lakhs (Per Annum).
