Jipmer my final destination is here

Likes

- there is huge facilities for sports and for extracaricilum activities
- there is huge play ground for both football and cricket as well as futsal ground
-there is a indoor stadium for badminton, volleyball and basketball and huge swimmingpool with very clear water

Dislikes

- there is only one big program conducted ina a academic year
-there is proper safety for students form locals
- they didn't provide proper guidance about the academic rules

Course Curriculum Overview:

-jipmer provide so much clinical exposure -it helps to behave with patients and provide maximum potential of our ability - facilities provided on sports must be improve. The faculties shoulbe much more friendly with students - exams is conducted on yearly and is it in moderate level

The thing that I like in this college is the campus.campus is full of greenery.
Other thing is the program in college. It is the only enjoyment in the college.
The other place is park . The stress reliever is that place.

Dislikes

There is no extracurricular activities in this college. Only minimum programs are condu6
There is no AC facility for first year classroom . In this hot climate it is more difficult to copup with that.
There is no cafeteria in college. It is a main drawback.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our batch is revised one. Bsc nursing is scheduled with practical hours and theory hours. We want to attend all the practical hours . And in theory we wanted to attain 75% of attendance.

Likes

Swimming pool i can swim there i love to swim
The environment soo eco friendly campus only.
Football court is soo nice and good tidy.

Dislikes

Not to safe walk alone at night for girls
Soo rush full of patients. We cant live peacefully
Jipmer supplied medicines are not high qualities

Course curriculum is good only but little bit tough as first year have soo many subjects that bit difficult Good environment for studying. Helps us to study well.we need to get 75%attendance for passing the year.

Likes

Campus is such a good ambiance and clean good environment
Classrooms. Such a nice class room with full of air conditioner and all equipment what needs
Hostels and food. Neat and clean hostel room and good space is there and good food

Placement Experience:

We have campus placement in here Many of students get placement in here and other college average package is 45000 most of students were go to higher studies like pg,phd. Most of them after complete the graduation they go for higher studies

Likes

Good infrastructure, with academic block, library
Playgrounds, turfs, multispeciality blocks of hospitals
Good faculty, students, cultural programmes, SPANDAN

Dislikes

Hostel rooms, sometimes we will find difficulty in accomadating in rooms if we are allocated along the seniors, but gradually it becomes alright and fine
As this institute is a government, we must study and make interest in studying ourselves
There is nothing more disliked in this college. The college is not much disliked

Jipmer provides all the facilities and freedom for the children thus providing best college life for children.
I liked our central Library System in jipmer very mich
Gym is free here in our jipmer for girls and bous seperatly

Dislikes

Here in Nightingale curfew system it is bit difficult
There is less seat are arrranged in campus for students to sit
The year back system in our curriculum is the worst

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jipmer provide the best qualified education. It is a four year course which include both theory and clinical posting. This aspect influenced me a lot. Curriculum provides clinical exposure which helps to face the real world.

Security safety, safety guards are very good and work immediately
Campus is very clean,safe friendly with all facilities
Good library facilities we all can avail books.

Teaching facilities are good. We have facility of library . Teachers are very kind and are of helpful nature.They teaches very nicely. They also help students to face personal problems and motivate them for good .

Overall its a good college.

Likes

Infrastructure wise its so good and providing great exposure to students.
Cultural fest, spandan also sports day providing great opportunity to expose the talent of individual.
Good accomodation and mess facilities inside campus also ambience of college is nice.

Dislikes

Scholarships for students is based on their caste or category not based on their economic background or needs of the students.
They are not providing stipend for students those who working in clinical areas as in AIMS.

As a nursing student, I can say there is a systematically formed curriculum is there for the BSc nursing course. It enables the students to meet their effective educational objectives. They conducting main exams annually.

I like jipmer sports activities such as football and tennis
Gym is free for bothered boys and girls separately
Central library is most useful for our study

Dislikes

In our nightingale hostel there is a curfew method
Our curiculum year back method is bit diffficult
Park in our jipmer is closed at8.30 also not available for wvery day

Likes

Gives more priority to academics. More exams to revise the concepts learned.
Quiz's conducted enlighten the thinking and cognitive capacity of a student.
Clinical exposure help to learn mamy things by own and learn through practical approach

Dislikes

Language is an issue. Teachers try their best to convey in english. But at particular situation they use mother tongue so I feel little difficult at beginning. But it is quite ok now
No leave. Holidays are not permitted. Stict rules on taking leave from academics
Increased strength. As a backbencher it os difficult to hear properly

I will rate the top most point because from our batch ot is revised curriculum and it includes various aspects of the nursing. The internship provided by our collegeade it more attractive. The clinicl exposure also made to learn more because it is jipmer with more than 2000 beds

Like any other institution, JIPMER will offer you some of the best and worst days of your life.

Academically, I gained exposure to a vast variety of cases. This has worked to enhance my confidence as a medical professional.

In the Pediatrics ward, you may visit the neonatal ICU, and see how sick newborns are taken care of. You may attempt resuscitation on a baby. You may conduct deliveries in the Labour room, and perform minor sutures. You may interact with cancer patients, and others suffering from life threatening illnesses. You may work in the surgical emergency department.You’ll witness many births and deaths.

JIPMER lets you explore your field of interest. Whichever department you are interested in, you can volunteer for the same. You can volunteer in every department if you like, no one will stop you.

I secured 548 marks(GEN) in neet 2022 and I want to pursue Bsc Nursing. Which college should i choose from JIPMER,LHMC,RAKCON? I want to work abroad after my nursing degree. I am from Maharashtra. Please help me regarding these. I am very confused what college to choose as I am eligible for all the colleges.

All the three insitiutes are popular and good for pursuing B.Sc Nursing program. But considering the factors such as infrastructure, faculty, exposure, internships, placements, etc. JIPMER stands on top of the other two colleges.
