Likes

Infrastructure wise its so good and providing great exposure to students.
Cultural fest, spandan also sports day providing great opportunity to expose the talent of individual.
Good accomodation and mess facilities inside campus also ambience of college is nice.

Dislikes

Scholarships for students is based on their caste or category not based on their economic background or needs of the students.
They are not providing stipend for students those who working in clinical areas as in AIMS.

Course Curriculum Overview

As a nursing student, I can say there is a systematically formed curriculum is there for the BSc nursing course. It enables the students to meet their effective educational objectives. They conducting main exams annually.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 11400 per year

Internships Opportunities

They are providing compulsory internship previously for nursing students, now its not compulsory. Basic stipend for those who doing compensation should be increased. Also they are providing opportunity to do research for undergraduates in their academic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

For each year we have to pay tuition fee and hostel fee. For first year its 11400/- and 20000/- for hostel fee including caution deposits. For exams we have to pay separate fee.There is scholarship for minority category. They are not providing scholarship according to the caste or category of the students instead of the economic status of them, that's not fair.

Campus Life

Infrastructure wise JIPMER is amazing. Providing extra ordinary exposure to medical aspirants in their profession. JSA conducting sports day as well as culture fest annually. Also they conducting inter college fest named as spandan.

Hostel Facilities

We are sharing 3 students in a room.For 3 persons the room space is not enough also they are asked to pay 2 seated room fee. We can also stay in single room as well so that we have to pay additional fee.Mess is not available in hostel.Also there is so many rules and regulations in hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Based on NEET exam only they are recruiting students to any professional courses.Previously they conducted special exams. Its a good choice to that they are conducting exams to know the efficient buds to the field of medical profession. They also providing reservation benefits to various categories of students, so its so helpful to those are economically backwarded.

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
