Course Curriculum Overview

1

Course curriculum have so much problems. For Evs sec vac are really waste of time it is really time consuming to focus on other core subjects.Other core subjects is good starting with basis is really helpful to students who have not previous background to that subject.Teaching methods should improve we don't listen in the class that we don't understand.Exam timing is very hectic difficulty level upon to examiners

Internships Opportunities

1

There no internship in my knowledge I'm first year .so many scams are coming about instership college doesn't offer we didn't get any internships as a first year . I didn't heard any experiences from senoris also

Placement Experience

1

From 3 rd year onwards students will eligible for placement.mostly low packages are getting .students are not interested in campus placement because of packages I think. My plan is to focus on competitive examination

Fees and Financial Aid

In Jesus and Mary college for first year the overall fees is 27,180 rs .It include tution fees, university fees ,welfare fund, college infrastructure etc.For second year and third year the amount is decreasing it will be 25775 rs .If we are doing the fourth year it will be 25625 rs.College don't have hostel facilities it depend upon our own choice. In my case it will 10000 for others it can be decreased or more than 10k.while categories the fees tution fee will be 180 rs ,university student welfare fund is 250 rs,university development fees is 1200, college student welfare fund is 11247 ,college development fund is 11248,economically weakly section support fund is 200 , university facilities fund 1250 and faculty development 200 .The highest college fee is upto 30000+ for Bvoc students. Many scholarships and financial support is given by the college that are subject wise highest number of scholarships is for bcom students I think .There are scholarship for students who participating in sports ,extracaricullar activities and financial support by fee concessions, student aid fund are given to economically weak students.merit cum scholarship are:Dr Krishna Sharda memorial Scholarship,Vijay memorial scholarship,Dr Orem Singh award,Smt Sushila Pahwa scholarship SMT Lakshmi Kaul memorial,Shrimati Pushpa Pritam Dal Memorial Scholarship,Shri RR Mehta Scholarship . This all scholarship is for economically weaker students who is most needed.

Campus Life

3

Freshers day ,Diwali fest,Ethnic day,Garba celebration, college fest are conducted. My overall experience is college so boring .Women’s only campus .But sports here is going well and giving to much opportunities.other societies are doing so well here

Hostel Facilities

3

Room is three shared there no ac or cooler only fan .very congested toilet .common plug point only .light will only switch on upto 5pm to 9:45 pm meal quality is healthy better meals .Meals only provide as breakfast and dinner .No registration monthly 6000 rs it is in south extension having one hour of travelling to college it is convent hostel

Admission

I wish to join at Stephen for economics but I rejected beacuse of less score in cuet .In Jmc I got admission through Christian minority. In Christian minority we have to give a personal interview to the college they will ask about Christian bible related questions and also about the subject we choose .we want to give preference as Jmc in du csas portal. For to study economics in Delhi university You must study maths in your plus two .And for getting jobs degree we should give maths in cuet exam

Faculty

2

Faculties are very approachable I like Smita miss in economics department she teaches very clearly .She always love to teach she have a dedication in her job .very friendly to the students I like Divya Devasia in economics department very cleaver teaching style is very good always use English to consider every stud who are from out station . But some teachers from same department have no dedication not insterseted in teaching at all they don't no how to teach that why the economic department is not good here other teachers from computer maths also same situation. For every subjects exams and assignments are going well it not easy and not difficult as much .going In a moderate condition If we learn we can score

Interview Experience

5

I got admissions in Christian minority they asked question about our community and from bible and also asked question related to the subject I choose. For other students it is under cuet examination high cutoff are there then Eva sports quota also there

Night Life

1

Safe locality. it is embassy area . Green and clean campus . Fresh air .L park to spend with friends. Nature friendly campus .No hostel facilities .There is pg near to college having walking distance .

Placement Experience:

Students are become eligible for placements after 5th semester and Pre-placement training and sessions are provided by the college. The company visited our campus is mainly from sales domain but they give higher number of seats for placements. The highest package is about 10 LPA and average package is 5 LPA. Nearly 80 percent students should get their placements. After graduation i would like to do a job in a reputed company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the course i must say that this is something everyone needs to study about even if it's for just a part. We have ethics, moral, cultural relativism and etc. In our syllabus and it all really help to make our thinking rational, to see World from that point of view from where one can see the clarity. It's really necessary for improvement in personality and making good decision. I think there's need for making this course more practical like teaching, we can teach students about essentials of philosophy for there betterment of decision making from an early age.

The reason for the choice of course is ofcourse personal interest also, research work in chemistry is highly interesting and also has scope in fields like chemical engineering, forensic sciences etc. The teaching methods are really good and the books prescribed are available in the libraries. The timing of exams are according to the university and is into two halves.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course BSc honours physics is pretty good and it provides sufficient informations in theory classes and practical labs are maintain good and teachers are actively participate in the practicals with the students to teach them more about this course. The frequency of the timing is difficult I can say that because it has many theory classes and on everyday due to which the students can't focus on the subjects and regular activities other than main course.

Iam a first year student and i dont know much about the companies visiting our college. But what I know is there are not alot of placement opportunities in the off campus colleges (there are some exceptions). This is also a reason why companies dont come in these colleges for placement. But if you are form the north campus or south campus you can have alot and better opportunities than the off-campus students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The job is quiet for sure after doing this course thats why i chose this course. Ok, so about my course, you have to remember everything that has been taught and it will prepare you for the real world. Teachers have teach with patience and without any partiality. Not like if one of the student ask something and they made a face lowering his comfidence about the ask question. We are studying in another and not our birth langauge they need to understand it while teaching. The frequency of the exams are semester exams, they are conducted at the end semester. And about their diffculty is average. Sometimes Some are easy and most of time they are not.
