Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course has subjects like economics and mathematics. So this combination looked good and interesting to me. I feel like this curriculum is good for me as I want to go in banking sector in future.Teaching Methods can be improved by giving practical knowledge as well. Exams happen twice a year one in june-july and one in dec-jan Difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placement Experience

3

Placements are really average in our college. Students become eligible mostly from 3 rd year only but there are also placement opportunity for 1st and 2nd year as well but less than 3rd years. Hike edu, Kpmg they visited this year only. Kpmg came to hire only bcom and bcom h students. The highest average package offered till now is 600000. 10% students get the placement I think it's not about the college because they can only bring the companies the interview and gd round is upto the students they have to clear it by themselves. I want to work in banking sector I will be trying to clear banking exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

year wise I paid ?24000 only for my bachelor of arts (eco + maths) as a du college it is expensive as in other college it is around ?11-12000 Other courses fees is also around ?24000 Our college provide scholorship to financial aid students

Campus Life

4

Our infrastructure is not that good personally I don't like it but campus life is good when you make friends and interact with others. We have our annual fest saarang where they invite singers it'a a two day fest one day it's music and all and second day they invite singers. We have other fest which central socities and departmental socities host. Like comvictus, polifiesta and my own society fest Rangmay. Fest time is fun. We have ac on our 4th floor in half the classroom only. I never watched anyone playing sports but we do have a small ground.

Admission

I did not wanted this college but got it due to my low cuet score. This college was down in my preference list but when I got some really good friends I started liking this college and enjoyed coming here. To get admission in this college you need to score average in cuet but if you want bcom or bcom h and other prefereed courses you need to score more than average. In our college sikh quota is also there for minority students. A student who has 500 score in cuet out of 800 can get admission in this college.

Faculty

3

Mostly our faculty is really well educated Some teachers are really helping and some don't help at all Some take their classes regularly and some keep cancelling I think we need more faculty in pur college as I have seen many teachers teaches 2-3 subjects we can have different faculty of it There are some teachers wo don't even allow us to enter if we are 10 mins late for the class which should not be done as most of the students come by travelling 2-2 hrs they should be considerate

Night Life

3

We don't have a nightlife in our campus as even our fests happen in daylight. Most of the students sit with their friends in the cafeteria and hangout in the outside area. Our college hostel is in making we had a small ground but in the half they are making hostel now. Outside our college we have really good eating spots but they are not hygience. We don't see much of other students then our own college as there is no other college nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview:

university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I choose this subject because I like history and want to know more about it . History have the best opportunities to pursue the UPSC , Anthropology, archeology and we can learn more about historical researches . The faculty im the department of history is updated and well versed in the field of history and have adopted student friendly teaching methods which make me suggest this subject in JMC to the students who likes to pursue higher studies in history. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester with moderate difficulty level .
