Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers areas of accounting, taxation, auditing, costing and finance. It is a little monotonous and can be a little boring. The difficultly level is not high and it's easily manageable if you can spend time in studying reasonably.
Internships Opportunities
The Placement Cell works extensively to provide internship opportunities to the students. Students can also themselves get into internships through the network they create here. Also, the college societies work to onboard live projects, and it is as good as an internship.
Placement Experience
Internships are available from the very first semester. It has a Placement Cell, which works extensively towards placements. However, at the end of the day, it all matters in the will of the students The package varies on the basis of your skills, cgpa, and other factors.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees for the morning batch of B.com is 88,100, while the same batch for the evening students has a fee of 132000 appx. The scholarship is also given as a reward under the merit of Father Joris scholarship. The fee mentioned above includes all the fees bifurcated in tuition, registration and other compulsory charges.
Campus Life
The annual fest is named Xavotsav, which is crazy and has got converts, food stalls, stand ups, dance, music and a lot more activities. The campus life, especially for the morning batch is a little boring and monotonous. Library is accessible and the books are of all varieties. There are lot of college societies and clubs and it's a great medium to connect and network with like minded people.
Admission
I had given CUET, and gotten into a Tier 2 college there. I still opted for this college only because I wanted to pursue CA. The admission criteria is solely on the basis of your boards percentage, and emphasis is given on Maths.
Faculty
The faculty is very good, they are all committed towards the growth of students. However, many of the faculty members are actually the alumnus of this college itself. The exams in the B.com course are easily manageable if you have basic conceptual clarity and can study reasonably.
Night Life
There is no night life in the college. There is no gym in the college. There is a cafeteria, which isn't that great, just works enough. Famous hangout places near college are mostly food joints and cafes. To name a few, Delights and Nandus, the Coffee Shop.
