Course Curriculum Overview

5

speaking the truth i just fill this collage in the jossa counselling thinking that it will not come but it in the 4 round out of 5 this collage didnt change so i had to accept this collage. after seeing the hostels and the campus i thought that the faculty and carriculum is worse too but they are pretty good we have very influential personalities in out system and they specifically designed the new caricullam for best outcome in the branch and future academic pursuits. i dont think the carriculam need that much improment but i will suggests to bring the branch change option back as some student choose better collage with lower branch and can get the option to choose their dream branch for furthur studies. exam happens every 2 months after the exam we have leaves so that we can go home. the mid semester examination gives 10 days leaves on durga pooja and end semester gives one month of leave to go home.

Internships Opportunities

4

their are many internship opportunities with stable stipend, i dont know the specific of internship yet but officially the collage mail about the internship and sinors take the responsibility to inform the juniors about the intertnships. the major projects start in the 4th year with the minor projects in the second and third year, ouutcome of this projects will decide how you will be placed in the placement.

Placement Experience

4

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

as i got the full fees wavier as an Sc candidate i have to pay 64000 ruppee yearly hostel included, 5500 registration fee, 4000 mess stablishment fees, 4000 hostel stablishment fees, 17500 mess fees. without fee wavier total fees is 104000. i ddont know the specific scholership but some are eil and birla scholership. the fees for btech hhas increased thiss year.

Campus Life

4

thier are major 3 fest, rebecca nerd cone and instruo. which are held in both semester except rebecca , rebecca happens in the early months of the year. thier are many books and journals available in the library with very comfy sofas to sit and relax while reading them, they aare also adding new journals little by little. all the classes are digitalized, almost everry classs have a digital board and if not all the classes have a projector. in term of sports i think it is very dull with no future in sports from this collage but the clubs for dance, photography, videography and many more are active and trying thier best to become best in kolkata with weekly meeting and daily relevent topic discussion. which leads a very powerful soocial impact on the student and help them a lot ion the future. the student portal is very good.

Hostel Facilities

4

they gave a bed, a desk, a chair, fans and four leds in each room.meal quality is pretty decent we are getting lots of non veg and veg option with almost everyday you are getting a non veg optioon which then cancelled out with sweets and curd , the brakefast and dinner are pretty good but lunch is pretty of sometimes other then that it is also good. registration process is very simple after admission you get a hostel alloted which then you can directly live in with just some signature in the hostel booklet. the rooms and mess are very affordable. but the hostel are very old and dirty some hostel have been coloured entirely and some are still as it is waiting for the completee constrruction of the new hostel that will accomodate 1000 students.

Admission

i applied for nit jaipur, surat, kurukshetra, allahbad and nagpur. i wanted to stay near my home or at a distace so i can go home in 3 to 6 hours of train. i didnt got that collage because of poor methods of counselling in jossa which changed almost my wwhole future. admission process was very simple with many people sitting their to help even if youu have any problem you can contact them and also delay the document registration. the fee payment was very smoth avijeet benerjee sir who handle all this have all the knowledge about fee payment and other acadmic issues if you need any help regarding anythhing you can contact him he will definatly help you. the admission was done through jee and gate and the cutoff data is already in collage dunia portal. over all the experiance was 8|10

Faculty

4

their is one mentor around 3 to 4 students in almost each branch and each banch have their specific teacher to teach teir subject. i like the proffesor of computer science, professional ethics physics lab. and the proffesor i dislike more is mohammad sir form mining and rana roy from the department of aerospace and applied machanic becuse of my own reason also some proffesor of electrical department. the exam are averagly difficult you get enough support from the proffesor so that you get passed with good insight about the subject if you attend enough classes. some student fail because of either they left the collage or had an medical issue. previously the carriculam was old and was little bit irrelevent but this year the carriculam changed that decreased the load of studend and also made the couse more enjoyable and relavent.

Interview Experience

4

no i didnt have to discuss about thee collage i just for formality put this in my jossa counselling and it locked then there was no other choice at that time so i hace to chose this collage. i had seen the cutoff of this collage in the collage dunia website and after that i decided to lock it and proceed the studies here

Night Life

5

our favourite hang out place is ganga ghat and meditation hall, light house and beside the snt building. the gym is pretty good with lots of student working out daily and new equipment being added. library is i think very awesome wwith many books new servers and computer room almost every student can be digitalized evenn if he dont have any laptop or pc. all the public area closes off around 10 pm. the first year hostel in time is 7pm and it can be increased upto 10pm with some time and afforts and the campus closes of after 11:30 for outsiders but youu can go out for important work and just hang out with your entrry on the gate. meditaion hall, clock tower, grave yard, canteen, eminities, giant bell etc. the night life in the collage is very good after first year you have a good amount of area too roam areound many calm lakes with the claming animal sound and company of many studends

Course Curriculum Overview:

Regarding examination the frequency is generally acceptable but the timing sometimes overlaps with project submission, creating unnecessary pressure. Exam duration is of 3hrs They should focus more on building projects which can be helpful for students Labs are modern and well equipped In terms of teaching methods a shift towards interactive learning, problem based assignments, hackathons and collaborative projects could make the learning experience more impactful. More emphasis on research and innovation at the undergraduate level could also encourage academic pursuits.

I was actually inclined to take this course so not really an influence of any aspect. The curriculum is pretty helpful and the additional competitions such as hackathons and codathons are really helpful. the frequency of the exam is consisteny the timing is provided when the academic calendar is out.
