Likes
- Central location and best buildings and we also have an entire auditorium building.
- Boys are not allowed at our campus at all as Co-Ed events doesnt happen at our college.
- Also, Green Park Metro station is at a walking distance from our college.
Dislikes
- We don't host events as boys are not allowed and that takes away some of the opportunities which co-ed college students otherwise enjoy.
- Mostly it's outsiders at the campus and due to which Delhi students don't get enough leverage as all the top rankers of other states want to study here.
Course Curriculum Overview
DU has made it clear that all colleges under it have exams at the same time so that makes it easy. Difficulty level always remains high but as I said earlier our faculties approach has made it look easier.
Placement Experience
JP Morgan to Indusind Bank, companies related to finance are the ones that gives placements to Gargi students. Highest package thus far for B.Com was of 24 lakhs offered by PWD and average though is 5-6 lakhs which is kind of not good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Gargi College fees is divided as tuition fees, library fees, i card fees, deposit fees and likewise a few more heads. In all, the fees comes to 22500 for general category students and it is nearly half for SC/ST Students.
Campus Life
Lavanze, Mitra and likewise over 50 or so societies which are head by students group. Sports facilities are there and best are the gardens as we have gardens cut-offs close to every single block that we have. Reverie is our annual fest that happened some 15 days back and singers are brought to entertain us. However, the fest lasted for 3 days but since it's girls college the fest ended soon as 6 pm was the cut-off time.
Admission
CUET is the best thing that has happened as otherwise when it was on percentage basis our college cut-offs were 96 percent minimum. Luckily now the benchmark is set on 90 and rest all on CUET score. The CUET cut-off varies like it was 776 the year I took admission and last year it was 779 out of 800.
Faculty
Relationship matters and this is what we are taught here. Women empowerment and it's importance lies in relationships and to teach us that faculties themselves have build such strong relationship with us that it teaches us all. Talking about our course B.Com yes it msg sound easy but it is not but again our faculties have made sure that we should look upon itvas the easiest thing we can do and go strong.
Night Life
Many mails and all are close to our campus. Also, small kiosks, cafes and basically it's the Ansal Mall that has fullfilled all our demands and desires of food. So, that is our go to place because from cinema to arcade games, we have it all over there.
