What Students Say

Likes

Iht free structure of the college is affordable
They give plenty of holidays and vacation after the semester end
They provide pritty good placement for the students

Dislikes

There are only 12 days of leave and if your leave exceed the 12 days then you will debard
There is no AC in the classroom and The beaches are not managed properly
The exams are pretty hard, you have to study everyday to get good marks

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum as fairly comprehensive and moderately relevant to industry needs. However, there are areas that could be improved for better alignment with real-world applications. And some subject are fun to study ????

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees structure is 7.85L of the entire course.the fee payment done by semester wise,95k per semester and in the year 1.10L year.there is tution fees waver for the sc,st students and there are also scholarship available for the students

Campus Life

Campus life at UEM Kolkata is a blend of academics, social engagement. While the university is still growing in stature, it offers a vibrant student community, well-structured infrastructure, and multiple avenues for personal and professional development. And the senior are quite helpful

Admission

I chose this college in factory of affordability and it near to my my state and uem college stand all the parameters and it has decent facilities and they also provide good opportunity for the students and they also provide good placement to the students.

Faculty

The faculties college provide are well knowledgeable and they teach very well.there are some facilities which are pretty roude and they don't corporate and there are some who are very nice and they are very friendly with students

Interview Experience

Yes we have done group discussion on the topic of crunt technological developments in the feald of ai and then some interview questions and the criteria for admission are aptitude test then interview then group discussion .i prepared the round by the help of facilities, ai, and some notes

Night Life

There no nightlife in the college as they close the college on 5 o clock.The college has there hostel in other places.there are very strict about the timing of students who are entering late and the gym are near to the hostel

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

IIT KGP in a sophmores eye

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker. I took admission in this college as I did not get a good rank in jee to get admission in any IIT of top tier colleges and had not option of a 1year drop and preparation.
