Remarks

I got recommended by a friend to give Iemjee entrance. I did not plan for it. I cleared the entrance and got a call from the college (you can get admission without entrance too) and I booked my seat by giving 10k. Then after my 12th result, I took admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is as good as any other B Tech course in India. The faculty is very good with a great blend of youth and experience. Many teachers have done Phd. There's an extra subject here which is not there in many other colleges. It is aptitude and character skill. They prepare you for PSU and civil service exams.

Internships Opportunities

The college encourages its students to opt for online part-time internships from 1st year only. It partners with Internshala to provide internships. There are 2 compulsory internships during the 4th year in which the college assists the students.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are held for students at the end of 3rd year. Many companies visit the campus and the placement rate is high. The placement cell is very active. Thought most of the companies are service-based like TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are ok. 65k a semester is neither less nor much. If you score above 85% in 12th then there's a scholarship for you. The percent increases if you cross 90. Overall it's affordable and payable. And the fees have not increased for me since I've joined.

Campus Life

The library is decent with a good number of books and many desktop computers. The library is available 24*7. The classrooms are very spacious and well ventilated, with sunlight and fresh air. But the rooms are nonac. There are many clubs, ex, quiz club, dance club, drama club, sports club, music club, cultural club, and technical club. There are cricket and football teams. And an intraleague for both cricket and football is held annually. The college doesn't have a playground though.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
