Remarks

Very good placements and good and friendly faculties with high experience in their respective subjects. Zero ragging campus which was surrounded by nature and also possess great infrastructures. Canteen was also available.

Internships Opportunities

Quordnet Academy, Trainee, Unpaid internship. Not literally an internship but working in the start-up of one of my college alumni. It's better to work in native ventures than foreign companies, here my seniors can guide me & extract the best out of me.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know, There is no scholarship programme based on XII score. Meritorious students with over 8.5 SGPA used to get some sort of scholarship of around 5000.

Campus Life

Hostel Facilities

The boys hostel is near the college, often students walk from the hostel to the college. It has proper gatekeeper etc and students have to register themselves whenever they leave or return to the hostel, even the guests (only UEMians). The girls hostel is located a bit far from the college owing to the still developing Newtown region. It is located in Salt Lake, satellite town of Kolkata.

Talking about the highest on-campus placement is of 32 LPA and average package offered is of 5-6 LPA. About 85% of the students got jobs of the department of Computer science. If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
