Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty member are friendly and helpful in nature and they have Masters & Phd level degree. Each course have 15-30 members of faculty as an average. Course like Cse, Cse (Specializations), IT, ECE are now a days in a hype rather than ME, EE and other core branch. Teachers gave lecture on smart board, they also give assignment on whatsApp and Google Classroom.
Internships Opportunities
The internship here are starts from 3rd year. Many tech companies - TCS, ITC infotech, TCS ninja, etc gave opportunity to the students to be a intern. The stipend is now depends upon the company and the job role. However student also prefer taking opportunities from LinkedIn and other online platform for their versatile knowledge experience and skill.
Placement Experience
Yes, Our college provide us campus placement by many of the MNCs recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. The placement cell takes initiative from 2nd year and later gives training for placements from 3 rd year. Talking about the highest on-campus placement is of 32 LPA and average package offered is of 5-6 LPA. About 85% of the students got jobs of the department of Computer science. So no doubt it is a better college when we talk about placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees Which I give is costlier than other private college in Kolkata, which is 625000 Rs as the course fees for Computer Science and Business System. The course here are offered - B.Tech , M.Tech, BBA, MBA, other Masters degree. The entry requirement is that the student must be qualify the Wbjee / Jee exam with the cuttoff published by the college. Else they offers about 10% management quota for direct admission for any branch. When we talk about placements this college offers it better as compared to other Institutions.
Campus Life
Talking about the campus life it is nice. Our college have a good alumni, seniors who are quite interactive and helpful. The college organise many tech and cultural fest and one thing which makes this college unique is they have many active clubs which help us to develop our personality and skill through participating into their workshop and events.
Admission
Nsec(Netaji Subhash Engineering college) is really a good college among the other private colleges across West Bengal. This college is comes among the top 5 college in kolkata. I choose this college as I got it through my wbjee rank. Overall placement wise this college offers the better avg placement packages of 5-6 LPA, which is quite considerable rather than any college in kolkata offers.
