Basically i got the wbjee exam 2023 then i selected in government college of engineering and ceramic technology my gmr rank is 10047 then i selected information technology department now we are basically explore my journey 2nd yr basically good degree future scope will good

Our college company visited geo tech, geo go,nic, unibit, this company are hiring for intership they get stiphen 6000 thousand per month for 6 month when the running internship good project devlopment are also selected permanent in this company

Yearly payment total exam fees 26200 for two semester And exam fees 1100 admission fees 6000 lab and development fees both included 6000 others fees like festival and cultural program 2000 per annum And we got 60000 thousand akshree scholarship

College infrastructure more better it good condition as compared to others below rank West Bengal engineering college . social activists are also active in this college like NSS programme are good for me I also participate

Basically 1st of all this college are situated central kolkata so comunication Way is more developed and others facilities also more devlopment like mess pg etc.and 4 th rank to west bengal government engineering college admission process through wbjee exam

Faculty members are very helpful faculty to students ratio 20:1 full timer faculty bt part timer teacher also available pranai adak sir best faculty he also teach c programming language Pinaki Mukherjee not because copy not checking properly

Night Life

Basically our college are not big or not small medium al facilities are available gym are also available but not properly funding gym then so bad condition to gym and library also good condition and our college campuses canteen are also available

Good Faculty but Average Campus Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant for beginners and covered important computer subjects like programming basics, DBMS, networking, and computer fundamentals. It helped in understanding the foundation of IT and software. However, the curriculum needs more practical sessions, coding practice, live projects and industry level skills. Exams were conducted semester wise with internal assessment, and the difficulty level was moderate. Overall the curriculum is good for basics, but it should be updated with more modern topics and practical learning.

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Placement was average if you have good background knowledge so you will definitely get placed. After 7th semester companies started coming and also there is different criteria for all companies like some company required more than 8 CGPA that completely dependent on company preferences. The average package is 3.5 lpa .Most of the student get hired by tcs. Placement success based on branch and skill.

All our professors were very helpful and kind to everyone. They were always one step forward in helping us in every way possible. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. Our course curriculum had data analysis and econometrics, which every company looks for. The topics taught were relevant. Semester exams were not very easy, but our professors prepared us in every way. The pass percentage was approximately 85%. Students were among the top-ranked in the city.
