Gargi : The Barbie World

So I have chosen English literature for my honours course where we have to study various plays from different timelines and regions, poetries, Novels of different genre and even mythological texts which enhances our analysis and deep cognitive thinking.

There is a placement cell in our college which provides internships on daily basis. One of my friend from second year got paid internship of 10k with online interview and she is working hard on it with her skills.

I have my plans to do Masters after my degree and apply for net examination as I want to opt the profession of a professor and Complete my PhD. I like teaching and interacting with students so I have decided to do so.

I gor admission from Unreserved Category, so my fees for the course in first year was 18015, which was taken as admission fee. Other than that, I paid the examination fee separately which costed me 1430 and it varies from subject to subject.

I love the campus life of Gargi. You will never find it silent, it is very alive with the enthusiastic and loving people here. The societies here are great, some of the best ones are Enliven, kshitij and Upstage. The annual fest is Reverie which is very fun

My College officially doesn't provide any hostel facilities but there are a lot of Pgs near by. So many of my friends live in Pg only and the rent starts from 11k and goes like 20k per month, vary from room to room

I did Apply for various colleges but Got Gargi in my first round. I was already fond of Gargi as I had heard about it. The crowd is awesome and the people here are genuine and helpful which is very true to be honest.

Overall I like the faculty members of my english department, they are experienced as well as best at their work. The students are not afraid to express themselves and give their opinions in the class. In the honours course, we do have 7 subject, 3 DSCs, 1 Generic Elective and SEC, VAC, and AEC

I gave Common University Entrance Test for the admission in Delhi University. I scored 713/800 and Cleared the cuttoff in the very first round and freezed it as knowing it as a good and nice college with great faculty.

There is a Diggin in front of our college where students visit often. The Area is quite nice and safe and people like to walk their without the sense of being unsafe. There is metro station nearby and so many shops and cafes there to chill and hang out with friends.
