- Presence of a good infrastructure, we get AC facilities throughout summers
- There is a gurudwara and a gurudwara lawn nearby which provides positive energy
- The only reservation which is present is for sikh minorities

- Canteen food is not upto the standards .
- There is a lot of emphasis on student politics which can be negative for some
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Bcom honours because it is a popular course. I hope to get a good placement from college. The curriculum provides knowledge about various fields such as accounts, economics , business mathematics, law etc. Hence we get basic knowledge about various domains and we can choose which option to pursue afterwards
Fees and Financial Aid
Sri Guru Gobind Singh college of commerce is a reputed commerce college of Delhi University . The major advantage that college provides is that it offers mostly commerce courses . Hence we get peoply of similar backgrounds. The fees is slightly higher compared to other DU colleges but infrastructure is also better than others as we get AC facilities in classes throughout summers.
Campus Life
We get various events (especially in sikh festivals) such as lohri mela. Freshers and farewell occurs every year followed by alumni meet too. Annual fest named eminence is a popular fest which takes place in March every year.
Admission
I gave entrance exams of IP University and got enough marks to get confirmed admission in VIPS college. But fees and reputation played an important role. DU is considered better than IPU in various aspects. I applied for JIPMAT ( iim jammu entrance exam) but did not get enough marks Then I got admission in this college through scoring good marks in CUET exams.
Faculty
Some of the teachers are really helpful and listen to students and try to understand them , while some old teachers are completely disconnected. Teachers such as ms sarabpreet, ms hersheen, ms avneet kaur, ms Manju Bhatia are always ready to help and provide a proper guidance. Teachers give assignment for continuous assessment which can be easily found in books . Also we get good marks of we submit assignment on time. There is a fixed internal tests schedule . 2 papers are scheduled on one day with no breaks . But it is scheduled after mid sem breaks so we get enough time to study .
Night Life
There is a gym which has fees of 500 rupees per month . The college library is really good and we can get books related to college subjects easily, while also getting books of fiction,novels etc. The most famous hangout is Pacific Mall NSP, which is 5 minutes away from college. Inside college, canteen is a famous spot, and we can hangout in football ground , beggars point and richers point. No idea about night life
