My college review

Course in which I am is Btech Biotechnology which I chose to opt in the feild of agriculture and which helped me a lot by knowing about genes, cells, DNA, Plant biotechnology, Food biotechnology and many more areas. The course prepare for biological and medical field in real world for research purpose in pharmaceutical and food industries. The course must be taught in smart way for better understanding for those who can't understands biological terms. Exam are conducted after every 2 months and after good enough to cover the whole course for end semester examination.

College provides college permission letter to opt for internship in any field or industry for better experience. Some faculties personally suggest students to company for internship program which also helps in placement in that company later on by knowing their skills.

Campus placement is average in this college as it is situated in hilly region so many companies ct explore here. On campus placement package ranges upto 6 lac per year. From 7th semester students get eligible for placement. Maximum placement ranges from 9-10 lac per year and average ranges upto 6 lac. I will opt for post- graduation after my graduation and not such plans for placement.

Fee structure of our college is quite good as compared to other as we pay 100000 per year for both semester which includes 32280 for institute fee, lab fee, examination fee and 2480 for hostel and 16000 for mess fee per semester. Yes scholarship is provided by college like merit based which ranges around 5000 per semester.

Campus life is here quiet good and peaceful as it is situated in hilly area, no pollution, city rush or crowd which makes student healthy and provides good environment. The college has a central library which has all books of every department which makes easy for students to get study material and prepare for examination. Classrooms are opt with smartboards which helps in advance studies and easy to understand in digital boards. Our college conducts many fest like technical fest, dance fest, food fest, and an annual fest which maintains enjoyable environment in college. College also conduct an annual sports fest including variety of sports for health and fitness of students.

Hostel environment is good and friendly. Every student are friendly with each other and have competitive behaviour. Mess quality and food quality is quiet bad as food provides is not good. No local I'd is taken for hostel allotment, hostel are alloted after submission of institute and hostel fee.

I applied for all the government engineering colleges of uttrakhand to pursue my Btech but I was interested in Govind Ballabh Pant university of agriculture and technology for agriculture course. I got confirmed in Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology pauri Garwal where I am persuing my Btech in Biotechnology trade. I didn't choose this college personally but the course which was provided by college was my area of intrest. I didn't get rejection from other colleges. I got this college on the basis of my JEE mains rank as my percentile was around 65-70. Registration process of my college includes online registration and then on campus registration of the student with their documents. Our college accept student on basis of JEE main examination but for Biotechnology course 12th student with PCB are also taken.

Faculty members of our college is quiet helping in studies as they make sure to clear our concepts. Faculty to student ration is also good as every department has more than 10 faculties for every subject. I personally like to address our professor Dr. Arun Bhatt as he is quiet clam and understanding which helps me lot to make my academics stronger. Our college conducts three exam per semester i.e., Class test 1, class test 2 and end semester examination which is conducted by college. Most of the student most exam average to clear but for few they stuck with few subjects which they never studied.

As our college is situated in hilly areas so here night life is quiet boring as there no nearby malls, shoping area etc for exploring. Our college includes their personal canteens for everyone, and shops for daily needs. Hostel in time for both girls and boys are 6 pm in evening as it is situated in hilly areas which has risk of wild animals.
