Likes

I just liked a few faculty who teaches well.
Affordable food during tiffin hours. Nothing more is accepted

Dislikes

Faculty are all bad barring only two or three.
College is like jail no freedom. Once you enter your cannot leave until end hours
Exam timings are so bad. There's too much pressure on students

Course Curriculum Overview

I just chose this course because I had no other choice. Frequency and time of exams are very bad. When I joined, in the first year the semester came very fast. Like in 2 months of joining the exams started.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees 75000 Only 1st semester fees 95000 including admission fees. There's are no scholarship available from college. Total course fee is 624000. My batchmates have all the same fees. Lab fees and others are all included in semester fees

Campus Life

Well there are two fests names ecstasia and utopia one is literary fest and the other is cultural fest. Library is good but the staff on library is very bad. They have too much attitude. You can just join library during break or dispersal hours. And there are opportunities for extra curricular activities

Admission

I applied for Techno International college. And i joined uem by passing the iemjee exam which is a college entrance exam for uem Kolkata and jaipur. And 70% in boards is enough. They don't check anything else.

Faculty

There are very few faculty members who are good. Rest all are just there for the sake of covering the syllabus. Exams are the worst. Once you fail you can clear in the next year odd/even sem according to the current sem you fail

Night Life

There is no gym in the college. Library is only available during college hours. There is no hostel. The timing of college hours is 9:30 to 4:15. There's hangouts place only the cafeteria and the back of the cafeteria.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. If u give the 10,000/- in advance then the seat will be booked for you and at the time of admission your money will be extracted from there. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
