College review

College is good, after 4 year placement will be sure but the student will never enjoy the college life due to very strict rules and regulations,they have dress code which need to be followed every day. No grounds and infrastructure for games and other activities.

Course curriculum is according to the makaut university. Makaut has a own examination structure. Exam for 70 marks and 30 marks from internal in theory paper. For practical exam there is another 100 marks conducted by college professors they take viva and practical exam

Placements & job opportunities is not excellent but good. Every year almost 70% get there placements, mainly mass recruiters visit the college for examples tcs.college doesn't provide internship but help the student to get some good internship. They motivate & gives the important information regarding all such opportunities

Cultural fest, technical fest are organized every year. Innovaction (tech fest) is very popular in kolkata. College also organise marathon and sports event. they also gives information about online events such as codevita,enginix,tcs commune and many other online debate,dance etc events

For 4 year the fee is around 4 lakh excluding hostel charges. 50000 per sem is paid by the student staying outside West bengal but student from minority category's & residing in west bengal get some scholarship of 20000. Loans are also available in some banks.

I have not availed any loan but many other students have been benifited, many banks has there own scheme and offers. Loans are easily accessible with very low interest rate. Scholarship are not available in college for students belonging from other state than west bengal but students of west bengal can avail by there merit & category

The infrastructure is very poor, there is only a building and nothing else. Don't have any facilities for sports. Labs are very small and have very poorly equipped, practicals are conducted in group of 5-6 student for one machine/ equipment.

Some alumni are very senior and reputed.they help the student in every possible way. Seniors are also very supportive and helpfull. There is no tolerance policy for ragging, it is strictly prohibited which is very helpful for freshers.

Some facilities are good having vary good standard and reputation in kolkata, but also have facilities with less experience and knowledge, many classes will be boring due to there confused nature and skills.
