Course Curriculum Overview

5

While joining this course i researched alot about our university's teaching methods and the placements. After joi ing i realized that the way our professors teach us it makes us well prepared for real life struggles and hurdles.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship companies for our course are mostly in museums and historical sites which gives us a lot of experience in work life.Till now we don't have any upcoming projects as per my year, mostly it will start from my 3rd year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the fee structure increases per year and it is an affordable amount to pay. My 2nd year fees is currently 41000 in general category. And for the others it is the same because mosy of the student in our course are from general category.

Campus Life

5

There are many big events as well as small events that is held in our campus mostly around the whole year but mainly at the end and the starting if the years. There are varieties of books available in our library fir every needs.A huge sports event is held called Sangathan which takes place on a vast way that jnclude every type of sports, especially football. As for the clubs there are around 50 clubs in our university and each and every club is open for all the students.

Admission

Yes i did sit for CUET and even scored 669 but as my parents suggested me for private universities instead of a government one,so I went with my current college. And surely i don't regret choosing this one. The teaching structure and the infrastructure are very good

Faculty

5

Well, the faculty student ratio is very well and has a great relationship among them. The marking system is pretty simple here as in a question paper in the section a-we get 5 questions of 2 marks out of which we have to attempt 4. In section b- we have 3-4,6 marks question and at the last section its a compulsory question of either 16 or 20 marks. There is a great faculty named Moumita Chowdhury who treats most of us like her own child and teaches us in a way which makes it easy for us to understand the concepts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political Science as a discipline is quite a bigger domain, which has a huge area to cover, so in terms of comprehensiveness, it was enough to build ones understanding on the subject fully, provided the immense support of the faculty was an add on. The faculties made use of every possible Teaching method starting from Lecture, Discussion, also engaged students in PPT Presentation, Oral Presentation, made us watch documataries, made us visit libraries and read various books, made us write notes from the other reference books. In short, it was enough to build an overall understanding as well as helped me a lot further to go ahead with Masters course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose philosophy cause I read philosophical novels and I had an interest in it but honestly I'm not going with it in future. Though the department is excellent, the teaching staff is excellent and we get to learn about real world Philosophy, Ethics and morals. Teacher takes classes for major papers everyday and teaches every topic by ending providing notes. Viva and tutorials are the part of the course.. Area of improvement is that the teachers should provide more notes on English mode and teach in English mode as well because not everyone comfortable in Bengali. Frequency of examination is worse under Calcutta University, you don't get adequate time for preparation and that's the worst part.

Placement Experience:

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

In our college The course is for three years. These three years have been divided into six semesters. Six months is a semester. Final exams are taken every semester. Also, our college has different facilities. There is a mess for the students. There is a library for the students so that they do not have any difficulty in studying. Which is very useful for us.

You must have above 80% in 12th exam to qualify in the admission process. The teachers of the college are very good person they help us a lot in study. Exams were divided in semesters. Per year there are 2 semistars. The exam were easy for who studied and hard for who didn't.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and faculty members are great to be honest. I come from a family of Bengali graduates,so there was a common interest in Bengali.Besides it's my favorite subject too. There was 100 students per course. There was more than 20 courses available in our college. The faculty members are so helpful and they are enough qualified, they help us in every situation. The teaching method is so good. The good thing about our college is ,they supervise our attendance carefully. Its one of the reason why teachers are also motivated and try their level best to teach us according to our benefits. They will give us some extra details of the topics, take extra classes, use projectors and so on.The teaching method is standard. The exams happens in every 6 months. Its very difficult to pass these exams .The questions are always so standard in our college. Its so hard to get a good score.
