Remarks

Amazon, BYJUs, L&T Infotech, Federal Bank, IXIA Communications, etc. are the companies that fascinated me to pursue BBA from this university the most. Then I went to an educational portal to know more about this university. The fee criteria also matched my affordability and hence I opted this college. I filled the form online and had to pay Rs. 1100. Admission is totally merit based followed by a PI round.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Student teacher ratio is finely balanced in our college that is 1:50. Syllabus is structured with latest updates and case studies. Teachers are also very smart and know to guide us in a wholistic manner. I chose this course because I want to do MBA from the same university and wanted to become a finance analyst ahead. There are two exams in an academic year followed by quizzes and class tests.

Placement Experience

4.5

We have a placement cell in our college that facilitates us in getting jobs in various firms. The highest salary package offered to students stood at INR 28 lpa whereas the average salary package remained at INR 4 lpa . The highest-paying companies were Amazon, BYJUs, L&T Infotech, Federal Bank, IXIA Communications, etc. I also have certain plans ahead in the banking sector.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I guess fee structure is where university reconsider as in the pandemic 6L for BBA is quite high. But we can neglect this as it is Amity and its facilities. Fee hike policy is good as our college doesn't increase fees on a regular intervals. It stood firm for years at least. Scholarship facility is also merit based. College also provides financial aids to some students according to reservation. Loans facility is also available in our college.

Campus Life

4

Amity has a great sports complex, enormous library, gyms, grounds, lavish cafeteria, etc. in the college premises. We have certain cultural festivals organized every month. The college organizes an amphora every year. Our college also has different clubs and societies which are totally run by the students. Overall we have a great life here but still it is affected by pandemic.

Admission

Yes there are GD and PI rounds too conducting in our college. This is the last stage of the selection where we got divided into groups of 10 students. They gave us a very basic topic to discuss. The selection was based on confidence, relevant points and body language.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.
