Course Curriculum Overview

4

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly basis our admission fees were around 7000 Rs. Tution fees - 2000 Rs per month. Registration Fees - 1000. Admission Fees - 1000. Development fees 1000. Lab fees - 1000. Cations fees - 500. Others - 500. Batchmate Fees - 7000. OBC government scholarships were available that was around 5000 Rs per year.

Campus Life

4

We in the college use to hold an annual feast after the completion of every year. And along with that after the new admission of every year a freshers pirty is held in the college to welcome the new students. The college contains a big college library where one can find every book he or she wants. There is a computer lab in the college to grow the knowledge in computer for the students. And this facility is free to all the students. In everfy year in the month of dDecember a sports week is held in the college. A gym is available in the college campus for both boys and girls. There is no social groups or organizations in the college campus.

Admission

After my 12th I applied to two more other colleges than my college, they are Katwa College and Burdwan Raj college. But i preferred to get admitted in Chandrapur College. I heard from my seniors about the college and when I got admitted to the college and found that truely its the best place i can gain true knowledge. In other colleges there are many political issues but here in this college there is no political issues. I didn't got regection from other colleges rather than i choosed to be get admitted to this college. If someone needs to get admitted in this college he or she must get atleast 80% in the subject in the 12th then there will be no issues in the admission.

Faculty

There are Average of one teacher to 20 students. And the teachers are well qualified and every one holds their doctorate degree. They approch to each students individually as the students needs any types of help. There is a professors in our department named Anurag Sir , who used to be my favorite taecher as because his teaching qualities were just unbelievable. along with that he use to get mix up with the other students as a friend. We used to have our exams on semister basis after every six months. And the exam i would say was moderate. In every semister around 5% of students fail to pass the exams. I must say the relevant to those who loves to read various novels.

Night Life

4

There is a gym for the use of both boys and girls, there is net and clean cafeteria and a canteen, that runs between 10 am - 6 pm. There is no hostel still now started. The campus timing I can say its around 10 am - 4 pm. Inside the college campus there are many parks to pass the free times chatting with friends and outside there is anciant zamidar bari whre we used to visit often, its a historical place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.
