Candidate must have passed Plus 2 Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination with Science subjects, i.e, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Zoology and Botany, and secured not less than 50 % marks. Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination with Vocational Nursing. Student from other States has to produce equivalency certificates / Migration Certificate. The fees for the GNM course are INR 78,000.
