What Students Say

Likes

College infrastructure is soo good that anybody can feel the peace and student based environment.
Sports, flash mob, cooking events, college day and many cultural Co-curricular activities.
Teaching and the labs for both thoery and practical knowledge of the subjects.

Dislikes

The canteen food and snacks charges is quite more for students.
The college starts early in the morning at 8 am.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum includes both theoretical and practical teaching, that makes the students understand in a better way. Exams timings and distribution of marks is soo good in the college as it consists of 3 internals of 30 marks and also lab exams. Everything will be practically explained and cross check the students for their understanding.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

College provides 75% to 80% placements through CDC placement group. Some are IT companies, Non-IT companies and others are coaching / internship courses. The placements begins in the beginning of the 7th semester. Many companies will attend for placement hirings. I can't tell all are famous companies but relevant, reliable startups also involve in the recruitment process.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College infrastructure is great and the environment around is soo soothing. Our College has the best support for all types of co-curricular activities and development. The College fees for KCET students vary from 80 to 90 thousands, for directly admitted students it's vary from 1.2 to 1.5 lakhs. In that, kcet fees for general and Sc/st students is 65,000. The tution fees for general is upto 32,000 to 35,000 but for SC/ST students its upto 500 to 1000. The placement opportunities are good enough for the freshers and beginners.

Campus Life

The Campus life is awesome and our college is mainly famous for it's wide area and it's infrastructure. The college consists of area for every sports, events and programs. The college has its own auditorium in the middle of PESITM and PESPS called "Prerana Convention Hall". Majority of the events are taken place in that hall only. The faculties and members provide support students for joining different clubs and organising events.

Admission

Since the college is out of the town near sagar road, it is slightly far for everyone. The bus facility is provided to each corner of Shimoga and Bhadravathi. Our college organizes sports, cultural activities, hackathons frequently so that students from other colleges can participate and grow through this. Our college also provides food facilities in case of inter-college competitions. If you are through KCET, then college fees will be 32000 to 35000 for general and 500 to 1000 for SC/ST students.

Faculty

The faculties are so good and supprotive towards each step of our growth. They are very friendly and always ready to breif about anything for the students. All the faculties are good and their teaching differ from person to person. They provide knowledge both theoretically and practically to the students with hands on. For a single semester, there will be three internals with upto 30 marks each and at end 100 marks on theory which will be reduced to 60 and 40 for labs. Only 2 to 3% of students fails where other's pass in the first attempt only.

4 Placement Experience:

From the 7 th semester students can get eligible for placement and internship from the any semester if you become capable. Companies like Google, microsoft, dell,capezimi comes in our college and make offers around 1000 every years. Around 80% students are getting placed in our cse department. My plan is to take placement from this college on a higher note.

My Honest Review of My College

Placement Experience:

- The students become eligible for placements from the 6th sem itself. - There are lot of companies ranging from Samsung to Infosis to TCS which provide a package ranging from 4LPA to 34LPA. - Highest Package (This year): 34LPA and Lowest is 4LPA. - Students placement stats: Around 80% students get placed - My plan is to get into a good Product Based Company after my degree.

placements of pesu campus is really good thus securing us the spot of top 3 colleges in karnatake, apple and ibm also hire from pesu which is very hard to find in india colleges. highest cse package in 2025 is around 54 lakhs and average is around 12 lakhs. percentage of students getting place is comparetively low with around 60%,my plans after getting degree are to hopefully to be placed in campus placements

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Placement Experience:

Out of 400 students only 150 were placed and few still didn't receive their offer letters yet. I didnt get placed so it was very hard for me to get a job. When the placements started the whole world was going on recession that had very bad impact on us.

My first year in PESITM

Placement Experience:

There is college placements in here. The students studying in 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. They should also not be having any backlogs. There are various companies that visit our college. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, L and T, TCS, Anventure etc. On an average around 70% to 80% students get placed who are eligible for placements. I actually plan on joining a IT company for a reasonable salary just for experience purpose. And then pursue higher studies

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

I had also chosen VVCE in mysore for the AIML branch and also CS branch in SJCE in mysore. I couldn't get both these colleges because I had not studied for kcet due to which my rank was very high. The cutoff for these course in these colleges is very low so I couldn't make it and also the fees in management quota was way more than I could afford. I chose this college over others was because of the fees being way less and also I had heard quite a lot about it. The admission process is quite simple. My college days

I applied for JNNCE and PES institute of technology and management in Shimoga. And i got seat in electronics and communication branch for the first attempt in CET councelling in PES institute of technology and management but i thought this branch will be tough Hence i applied to 2nd round and got seat in Information science and engineering branch. I thought the JNNCE college is not as strict than PES institute of technology and management hence i opted PES institute of technology and management than JNNCE. I was not rejected by JNNCE but i got seat in PES for the very second round hence instead of thinking further i joined. The admission process of our college is to write CET or Comedk exam after PUC and to enquire the details from the college according to the ranking in CET or Comedk if we get government seat or to take management seat for our ranking. If we can get government seat we can join by paying the amount or else must pay the college fee to get addmission in management seat as soon as possible. No special exams are conducted go join PES institute of technology and management must check the cutoffs according to college. KCET scores decide which college you will get. Ofcourse JSS and Ramaiah were my first choice but my rank was a bit below and therefore I got th admissions here. So, it's not like one is rejected it's about th chocies and our ranks that help us get the colleges in Karnataka.
