Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows Visvesvaraya Technological University for its curriculum. The VTU is a okayish university as a few rules have not been updated yet according to the growing generation. The university follows 8 semesters-4 years method. Each semester has two internal assessments and lab examinations along with that. The exam difficulty ranges from easy to medium.
Internships Opportunities
College students can pursue internships to gain work experience and enhance their CVs. Internships can be paid or unpaid, and can be part of a college program or for entry-level experience. Anvesana is a startup hub started recently in the campus and provides maximum benefits to the students.
Placement Experience
The campus placements are average. Companies like TCS, Infosys, AarBee, etc visittje college. Since the recession periods was going on, the placement drives had reduced recently. The average CTC starts from 2.5 LPA and can go upto 12LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is divided into 1. CET quota 2. management quota 3. Comed-K quota The CET quota has a total fee of Rs.98984. The college also charges 11k for the bus facilities used by the students. The management quota fee varies according to the branch of engineering the students option for.
Campus Life
VTU conducts cultural fests every year in order to engage students in various activities like Dance, music, drama, Literary, etc. The college also signs up for this event. Along with this, the college conducts annual fest Prerna with Ethnic day in every alternative semester. Sports is one field with is encouraged in the college.School and college are both there. peaceful and the campus is away from the city. Overall it's good. There is a school,pu college, degree college with different courses and also other courses.
Hostel Facilities
The PES hostel has average facilities. The boys and girls hostels are situated at different locations in the campus. The girls hostel has four buildings and one mess. The boys hostel has two buildings and a mess. The hostel charges 60k for a year. The hostel food is okayish.
Admission
The admission process was smooth and easy going. They managed the students pretty well. Students coming under reservation categories get their benefits through scholarships. The government provides scholarship opportunities fairly.
Faculty
The college is huge and nice with good infrastructure and lush green campus. The professors here have their PhD done and are those who haven't achieved a doctorate yet have applied for it. The people here are yet to be exposed to the real corporate world as the college has rules as that of a school.
