Course Curriculum Overview
Economics is a topic or subject that is never ending. John D Rockefeller was the first billionaire on earth and today we have multi billionaires. The day is not far when we might have a trillionarie too. So, we are taught what business has flourished and how US industrialized with Oil, Steel and banking sector. So our curriculum has taught us the past and it also discusses the future that first trillionarie on the planet will be somebody who will solve the climate change problem.
Placement Experience
T&P cell invites us for the placements mostly in the last semester but some students are invited from the 7th semester itself. Banks have favoured our college and especially our stream as analyst roles are awarded to students of our course. From ICICI, American Express to Federal Bank, we have enough job assurity now than ever it was in Gargi college.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees for a year is 26000 and for BA Economics it is lesser than I can imagine. ROI wise it's the cheapest in DU as average placements in our college are worth 6-8 lakhs. Imagine students of lower category who pay half of me also getting such a package means fees affordability is next level.
Campus Life
Lawn Tennis which is a rare commodity in India but our college has two world class hard courts. Badminton court ke of international standards and besides that almost every sports but swimming. Cultural activities and our decorated annual fest Reverie has attracted students from all the colleges of DU since many years.
Admission
With a score of 714, I had no choice but to choose my 3rd option college as Hindu and JMC were my first choice but their cut off was 738 and 745 respectively. CUEt ever since it has become mandatory, things have become more fair for the students as it has streamlined the admission process.
Faculty
Faculties for our courses are 25 in all. So for 90 students section or 180 total students of our course we have 25+ faculties. So 1 faculty for 7 studnets and I don't think one can ask for more. Now ration is not the only thing that is sorted but so is their camaraderie with us as well.
