The course curriculum is designed only as per the NEP policy and the guidelines of the Delhi University, making it more comprehend and relatable. Moreover, the course structure is updated regularly to keep pace with industry and academic trends. The curriculum is inclusive of practical and thereotical knowledge, giving an exposure to real world usage of the concepts learned. The exam timings and frequency or the number of holidays given is enough in accordance to the difficulty level of the course.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement cell of the college is very active in bringing companies to campus and help students get placements or interships. Wipro, EY, Delloite, Accenture are some of renowned companies that visits college every year. The highest package offered was for Rs. 25 lakhs and the median package is of Rs. 6 lakhs only. Majorly, the students of commerce background are given priority bynthe companies for getting placements through them.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a student of B.com Hons, my first year annual fees was around ?30,000 and it shows no increment this year too. The fee structure is still same for this year as well. The tution fees for BA hons courses will be around ?25,000 and whereas the fees for science courses are around ?40,000. The financial aids or scholarships which are available for students. Every year around 200 students are selected for merit based scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life of Sgtb Khalsa is full of fun and excitement. Various annual fests and events are organised within the college by college clubs or students union. The annual fest of the college, Lashkara, usually held in month of March ,was a great success organised by the student council of the college. The council invites renowned singers or artists to perform in the campus and the management is also quite good. The college library has the ample books and journals for the students to gain know. The resources are quite enough for all to access. The student led societies and clubs are also very enriched and active. They organises events and competitions on regular basis within the college.

Admission

I didn't applied to any other college , so can't provide a good comparison for the same. Talking about my own college, SGTB Khalsa College, the exam which it accepts is CUET ( Common University Entrance Test) , conducted by NTA. The admission process adopted is as per the guidelines issued by University of Delhi. The major portions of the total students is covered by the students of B.com hons , having a cutoff of 752/800.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty-student ratio is quite good. A teacher is alloted a class of maximum 60 students to teach at a time which leads to proper interaction between the teacher and the students. The teaching staff is approachable and collaborative , enganging both academic excellence and holistic development. They provide continuous guidance to students, not only in academic areas but also extracurricular activities like research, projects etc. The exam structure is completely based as per the guidelines given by the society. The level of difficulty is average, which makes most of the people to ace the exams by scoring good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
