Course Curriculum Overview
B.com.hons is accounting study in depth therefore maths and accounts are integral part of this course..The main placements are done in this course which helps you to earn more Presentations, group activities , online meetings and most importantly societies help you in giving corporate exposure like giving you work in pressure, etc Areas of improvement would be the extra subjecta which are like digital empowerment and other things here we should be provided with some certificates.. The timing of exams are good there's enough time to study for the exams..
Internships Opportunities
There's a portal of our internship by our placement cell where regularly some internships come and we can apply if we match their eligibility criteria.. There is internship fair every march or april to provide 150+ internships from companies like appollo tata 1 mg flipkart etc
Placement Experience
From.5th semester students are eligible to apply for placements Some famous companies are Deloitte, Kpmg, McKenzie,etc Highest package was 21.5 laks whereas aaverage stands for 6-7lakhs p.a. My plans are pursuing my CA along with my placement from the college
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of the college is approx 30000 for bcom hons and also you have to give examination fees twice the year that is approx 1200 each time so that means the fees accounts for approx 33k There are various scholarships available for minorites, need based, merit based,etc. I got a fee waiver of 15k my half of the fees was refunded.
Campus Life
There are regular events of different socities and clubs in the college also being a sikh community college it celebrates all sikh festivals in their campus Gurudwara There are plenty of books and journals available in the library There are ACs in every classrooms ,there are projectors ,fans and good infrastructure Khalsa College is famous for its sport activities..Every sport is celebrated here there is large ground in Khalsa college. The societies,clubs gives us exposure and sense of responsibility which helps us in our overall development
Admission
My preference list was SRCC HANSRAJ HINDU KMC RAMJAS SGTB KHALSA I got khalsa college as my score was 758 out of 800 in cuet.I was not able to get in other colleges as the cut off was high.. The admission process is simple you must pass 12th and then you must clear CUET exam and get approx 750+ for bcom hons in general category to get in khalsa college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is low as there's only one teacher per 70 students in bcom hons..There are no such teachers that you will not like they will be good to you if you're regular and will help you in everything... You can pass the exam by giving internals on time and study little bit regularly you can pass easily in the examinations
