Our department hosts a few tech seminars. Always encourages students to take part in hackathons and different competitions that take place inside as well as outside the college. Our department hosts a techno-management fest which includes various kinds of events like robotics, gaming and different other events. Between all this the college does give insufficient time to study for the exams. A bit more time to study and prepare for the exams would be better.

From the beginning of 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Mock interviews and group discussions take place to familiarise the students with the placement system. Different companies visits pir college every year, namely cognizant,tcs,jp morgan etc.

Tuition fee remains the same once you get enrolled although it increases for new admissions every year. The complete cost of my education is 6,21,200. 75,000 per semester and 96,200 for the first semester. All the different kinds of scholarships can be availed by the students, the most famous one being the SVMCM.

This year a new event known as the Driveblaze was introduced where there were various events. Every year Ureckon our technical fest is held where students from different universities and schools participate

You need to pass the 10th and 12th exams with science as your stream. At least 60 percent in all the subjects are needed to sit for the entrance exam that takes place. The entrance exam is known as IEMJEE and is a similar entrance exam to JEE Mains. You get selected through this entrance exam. It is held quite a number of times every year in the beginning time period of the sessions. Any questions regarding the admissions can be solved at the Ashram Building in Salt lake.

There are faculty members for every subject in abundance. A few faculties are really polite and kind and deal with students in a perfect way. On the other hand there are a few faculties that are slightly rude but then that is their way of teaching students. Overall faculties are really helpful when it comes to students needing guidance and help.
