UEMK review

No there is no negative comments about my college.All are perfectly fine. Discipline is of top level.It is a very strict university.Only food accommodation and hostel facilities are the fields of improvement.

Entrance Exam

The course is strictly according to West Bengal University of Technology curriculum and also AICTE based. Semesters are held every 6 months. Prior to that two mid semesters are held of 50 marks, one is written and another is online.

This year we have the highest placement record. The maximum package is 12 lakhs and average I of 5 lakhs.80% students are already placed in reputed IT companies. College does provide the platform for students to obtain an internship in their own fields.

There a heck lot of events that take place in our college. Apart from events and competitions, our college hosts it's annual Tech Fest every year in the month of January or February named Urekon and followed by its cultural fest Ecstasia which is celebrated with pomp and honor.

Semester fees are of 60 thousand per semester. They also charge some fees prior to the semester examination of 1 thousand because of registrations. This is all they charge. At the time of admission, they charge 80 thousand along with the first semester fees.

College offers the scholarship to students who top in semesters in their respective categories. They also provide loan facilities to students from reputed banks. This helps students very much. Scholarship of 10 thousand is given to semester toppers.

Labs are of high tech facilities.There are numerous labs for each subject with a good Internet facility. All sports tournaments are held every semester in which students can participate. There is also scope for extracurricular activities too.

Senior students are very friendly and helpful. They will always ready to help their juniors when in need. They are the best seniors. They conducts workshops and seminars which would be beneficial to students when they go to industry.

I got admission through my ranks in the WBJEE exam. Students can also give IEMJEE which by cracking students can get direct admission to our university. Other than there is also JEE mains rank by which students can get admission.

Our university has top Faculties who are well equipped with the knowledge and industry experience. They mostly are IIT alumnus. The study is basically digital or handwritten. They are very friendly and helps students in need.
