Our college infrastructure is the best over punjab
Our teaching faculty are very nice and cooperative.

Dislikes

The main gate entry timing are not good . Its is till 8:00pm only
Our hostel entry timing are also not good . It is till 8:30 pm only

Course Curriculum Overview

My university has good relations in abroad . It also provides IEP Programs for students . The labs are very advanced . They have the new generations pcs which includes mac as well There are total 2 exams conducted which includes mid semester examination and end semester examination.

I have applied for american express and worked as data analyst in my summer intership. I have completed my projects which includes Stock prediction website. E commerce clothing based full stack project. Food delivery app in our campus .

The students become eligible from 4 semester for interships program and in 6th semester te students can apply for placement programs . Our universities highest package was 64 lpa 2022. Almost 90% students get placed every year .

Campus Life

There are main 3 events conducted in a year . They are THAPAR FOOD FESTIVAL(tff) , SATURNALIA , URJA ( sports fest) . There are total 48 socities in our university which includes tech and non- tech both.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure is also the bedt in punjab and almost all the hostels have ac accommodation. The meal is prepared by sodexo which is a well established food company . Our university has a fretbox named app which conducts the admission process.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

The admission process of my university is very smooth. The infrastructure of my university is the best one in punjab . The faculty members are well educated and cooprative . The admission process is based on jee mains merit and pcm boards marks .

Faculty

The faculty of our university are best one . There are total 30-40 facuty for each departments in our university. So the faculty to student ratio is good. My best faculty is dr shalini batra . She is the head of our department.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. I had a really nice percentile of 98.9 in jee mains but what happend is i intentionally wanted to score 69 in boards i didnt know about the 75 percent jee mains criteria i got 69.7 i like to call it 69.69 but i messed up so i applied in vit as well and srm and thapar i got in all of them after giving there respective tests on the same fees but i chose thapar was better after some consultation with my relatives who are in this field and know people in this field i got admission in the end on basis on jee only in thapar and the experience is well...Read More

Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking.
