CSE curriculum is relevant,covering key topics. It prepares students well for industry but could improve in emerging tech areas. Exams occur twice per semester, with moderate difficulty. More industry-aligned projects and frequest updates would enhance the course

From the seventh semester ownwards, students are eligible for campus placements. There were many companies who visited the college, like TCS, PWC, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant and a huge number of startups. The highest package offered was of 21 LPA and the average package is of 5 LPA. Approximately, 60% of the students got placed in my year. I am currently working and have a plan to persue masters after 2 years.

The yearly fee for the course is Rs. 140000, with one-time registration fee of Rs. 70000. SC/ST students pay a reduced fee of Rs. 10000. A scholarship is available for students with the family income below Rs. 100000 per year. These fees likely cover various components such as tution, admission charges, and laboratory fees, through a detailed break down of Rs. 5000 for six months. There were basically two college fests, estacia and utopia. There were books of every type in the library with proper access for the students. The faculties were well educated and there were regular sports meet and events in our college too. I was a part of the fashion club of my college.

I chose this college over others because this college offers good placement and have good faculty members. I applied for VIT too, but at the end it was too far for me and decided to settle for a good college in my hometown only. There was an entrance exam in my college and based on the performance, you'll get your respective department.

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:50, with a generally positive relationship. Professors are supportive, especially in projects. Notable faculty members include Amarta Sir (ECE), Nilanjan Sir (CSE), and HOD SKG sir, while some students have expressed dissatisfaction with Bipasa Mam and Koel Mam. Exams are moderately difficult, with 10-15% of students typically receiving backlogs. The course structure and curricullum relevance was basically 12 subjects in one semester.
