SRCC, A dream come true.

Economics is one of the toughest courses one can pursue. It is very demanding and requies good mathematical reasoning and interest for the subject. Exams are held at University level. We have to give the same semester end exam of Delhi University.

Popular recruiters: Hindustan Unilever Limited, DE Shaw & Co., Deutsche Bank. The job varies from company to company. A good internship can lead to a placement offer in the same company. The stipend is pretty good for a 2nd year student.

Students sit for internships in the end of second year. The highest and average package offered during SRCC placements 2024 stood at INR 35 LPA and INR 12.73 LPA, respectively. Further, the highest and average stipend offered during SRCC internships 2024 stood at INR 88,120 per month and INR 3,67,000 per month, respectively. More than 500 offers were made by popular recruiters during placements 2023. Major recruiters participated in the process which includes Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. 44 recruiters.

The year wise fees is around 30000 in my college. There is category difference in fees. The college has various scholarships which are need based and merit based. The criteria is that the annual income of the family must be below 8 lakhs.

Crossroads is the annual fest of our college. It is held around February - May every year. It is one of the biggest fests in the country. Some of the biggest names in the music industry are invited to perform. Library is packed with good expensive books. You dont even need to buy books for you studies. You can borrow books easily through a computerized system. Classrooms are well equipped with projects and air conditioning. The indoor stadium is one the best in the University. With basketball and badminton courts and also a good gymnasium. There is also an outdoor football field. The societies are a major part of the college. They are the face of the college. From academic to performing art societies, you name it. They are a place where students get to interact with peers with the same interests.

Admission in DU is through the Common University Entrance Test CUET UG. There is reservation in seats. Admission is done online. Exams are held at the end of each semester of six months. The selective subjects are quite easy but the core papers are definitely challenging.

The faculty is one of the best in the country. They are very friendly and you can approach them without hesitation. SRCC has only two courses and the number of students is limited. This allows the class to be easily divided into small groups to ask teachers for guidance.
