Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum in our college is almost similar to the course which are taught in IITs and Nits . And also our college provides licescend software tools which can be accessed by each and every student of our college which are really useful in corporate industries and which are very much useful to gain practical knowledge about the subject. To add an answer to the question of areas for improvement is there are some outdated concepts in the course curriculum which are not at all used by industries at present,so I want them to be removed completely and rest all other things(course curriculum)works fine in our college.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Students get an internship offer along with full time conversion if they get selected through campus recruitment and also college offers some internships in summer holidays .In our department students get a internship to work under communication domain which will be offered in every summer holiday and also students gets a internship to work in vlsi domain which will be provided to final year students also they provides stipend of rupees 5K

Placement Experience

2.5

Our college is quite famous because of placements, many companies visits our campus but the sad thing is almost 90 percent are software based and hardly 1/2 companies related to other field like eee,ece visits our campus and they chooses one or 2 students. So this is the current scenario so most of my friends are trying for off campus and some are preparing for GATE exam to do masters.Usually final year students are eligible for placements and the companies which are recently visited are Flipkart, zomato, phonepay, Accenture, otko (software based ) for other branches like eee, ece ... companies which are visited are lam research and analog devices India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure for kcet students will be 1,13,500 per year and 4 lakhs per year for the students who got admission through pessat and 5 lakhs plus for management students.l went through kcet (obc category) so I'm paying 1,13,500 per year I paid for 3 years so far and not yet paid for next year. And there is no extra fees for other things every thing is inclusive in yearly fee. Our college offers different scholarship like distinction scholarship which will be offered to the student who got above 7.75 CGPA and CNR RAO scholarship for the students who got above 8.5 CGPA and MRD Scholarship to the students who are above 9CGPA.

Campus Life

3.5

There are 2 fests which are happens every year ... The fest which will be conducted in our campus is Maaya which helds every year in the month of November and second fest is Aathmathrisha ,this fest is conducted in other campus (main campus) in the month of March/April.To access a reasearch papers and journals, our college has given IEEE credentials for every students which will be given by library people. Classrooms are decent every classroom has own LCD TV with good desks. As i mentioned earlier literally there is not much importance is given to sports and extracurricular activities. Sports activities will be conducted once in a year where all the students Don't get a chance to play. And there are many clubs related to dance, singing etc..,

Admission

Basically we can get a admission in 3 ways , first way is through KCET/COMEDK and other way is through college entrance exam (PESSAT) and 3rd way is through management quota.for kcet students it completely depends on the category they belong accordingly cuttoff varies, for SC/ST students cuttoff is so high compared to obc and general category students, this is where the term' Reservation' is completely dominating which is really affecting the future of many general category and obc category students, even though they get good score and good rank and work hard they don't get landed up in their deserving college, which also affecting the INDIAN future where this reservation should be removed completely...and coming back to the admission process students find their application in official website itself there is not much to worry about it..

Faculty

4.5

In our department, student to faculty ratio is good and also teachers will really helps to understand the concepts quickly and also they will run doubt clearing session which we can attend if our clearance about the topics is not up to the mark and there will be a mentoring session every week where we can share all our problems with our mentors including our personal problems and also they will guide us to take every action in future.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
