Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well this was my dream to choose electrical and electronics and I wanted to grow in this department, Well the curriculum is a bit not proper as it is completely based upon basic terms and terminologies which is not much necessary but on the other hand going up in semesters increases more of the real world applications. My suggestion for the improvement in course curriculum and teaching methods would be that we would want more practical lessons about each concepts taking the students towards the practical applications such as transmission and distribution centres and other areas where we can understand each concept clearly and the frequency and the timing of exams are actually worst we need a lot of time to study and usually what happens is we end up writing our assignments and journals right before the exams and we don't get enough time to study so that could be the one we would like to focus on

Internships Opportunities

4.5

While the company called us air wire offered jobs for computer science students AIML students and other brand students with packages such as 12 lakhs per annum to 17.5 lakhs per annum and these are offered after internships provided by them for approximately two months, We were asked to sit in an internship class for two months and undergo all the processes and understand each project and how to get into the real it field and other such fields. Few of the projects that have come out really amazing is about a website building project by few of the cs students and it helped in many of the internship projects of the college and mechanical students have organised Few annual technical fests

Placement Experience

3.5

Usually the placements in our college starts from 5th semester and the students are eligible if they have good marks and good grades in their previous semesters. Few of the companies that have visited a number of offers made were one good company was called as airowire , Which backed up a maximum package of 12,00,000 per annum for the student of AIML and another student from eca was given 17.5 lakhs per annum and that was the highest package received in our college. The percentage of students getting placed is around 60% of the whole ratio . While talking about my plans my plans is to get a good job in a good company well repeated company and get into the search and development in my own field of interest that is in the field of electrical

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee structure it is 90,000 for electrical branch and the fees policies that we have to pay the fees during the first beginning of the semester and complete cost of Education including the tuition service fees and journals and booklets everything will go up to 1,20,000 per year. The scholarships that we are able to apply is from the Karnataka State Board which helps few students in few categories to get scholarships but I haven't received mine yet. Campus employment is not yet started in our colleges but it'll start when we are in the fifth semester and right now I'm in the 4th Semester , And the campus placements are on average of 3 to 4 lakhs per annum and it's a basic amount but we would like it to grow

Campus Life

5

We have a lot of analytic technical fests and usually they are held in the month of May and we have a lot of cultural activities concerts and good fests that are organised in the college, Well the range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is huge our library is one of the huge biggest in the North Karnataka and we have a lot of books available in the library and the facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are not as good but should be improved. While the sports and extracurricular activities are amazing in the college I would say one of the best and it's helping many students get into national level playing national level competition sports and Etcetera , And we have a good social group and clubs such as Media Club, Technical club photography club dance club and various such clubs and this would really help the student to go more

Admission

The admission process is very simple using the whole admission process we had to pay the complete fees that is 90,000 and the eligibility of the courses you have to have past your 12th with a good grade and the application forms are given in the college itself you have to go to the office and you will receive the application form the application fees and usually the dates are dependent on the exam of the cet. The details of reservation is not present in our college. The frequency and timings of exams along with our perspective is almost as same as what are given previously it needs more time and to be allotted to us . The areas I would suggest for improvement would be in the admission process which is basically more of the office department interaction with the students and timings and availability of them

Faculty

4.5

Well the faculty to student ratio is quite good especially in our department we have around 25 teachers for the group of students around 250 to 300 so basically each class has a good number of teachers teaching them and it helps us to have good communication between different teachers and different subjects. Well talking about the faculties credentials and the approach towards teaching and mentorship well few of the teachers do not have a good approach towards mentorship but they do have good credentials and their teaching skills lag a bit but still they are good in solving problems and assessing the questions. And I feel its up to average of a normal engineering college. Talking about how we can interact teachers and approach ability is top notch the number of approaching criteria of the students is increasing day by day and we enjoy interacting with teachers and spending time with them in regards to subject and other activities.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
