Likes
- The management. Fees paying app, the website, the library and other amenities.
- Teaching and non teaching staff. The knowledge they shared apart from the curriculum and help they provided for the extra curricular activities required by the college.
- The labs required for the syllabus, the lab attendants good nature, the e books and the manuals for the lab session.
Dislikes
- The timing of the classes and the labs were too congested. There was a conflict between the two different courses as suggested by the university.
- The improper online mode classes provided in the pandemic which created problem to many students.
- The poor presentation of the placement officer and offic.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course sy6and the possible future higher studies and the market boom of particular software jobs made me to choose the course and enjoyed the course. The course curriculum prepared for the basic topics needed for the jobs and the current market needs . I would suggest there should be more specific topics regarding the present market needs. I would say the exams and the difficulty level was good according to what I attempted.
Internships Opportunities
Placement office provided particular internship opportunities according to the course we have taken and the skills we needed to acquire for the placements. The placement offfce provided the list of the companies providing internship either th office visit or the online mode.
Placement Experience
From the semester 6,the students become eligible for the placements. Companies named Falabella, tcs, hcltech and other companies visited and they offered the package of ctc 5 to 6 Lpa. Highest package was of Falabella ,gave 7 lpa and the lowest was hcl which provided ctc of 2lpa. 45% of the total placement eligible students. To join the job and continue further to the product based companies like google.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined the college through entrance exams which are conducted by the Karnataka education board and got the college in the seat selection process. Fee structure was different for me as i had to pay 63000 for the board and 24500 for the college,so approximately i had to pay 94,000 per year. But for management seats, it was around 1,20,000 rupees and for sc,st it was around 45,000 rupees. There are scholarships for the catergorical castes from the government.
Campus Life
There's Sambhrama which is held during june or July. The women's day and the national festivals like Republic day, Independence day etc are held in respective month. Everything needed for the curriculum and the course from books to ebooks and digital library. Facilities were good like wifi, attendence system, presentation during classes etc. There were no groups and clubs.
Admission
I applied to the specific college during college and seat selection process and i got the college in second attempt. I did apply for ither colleges but i didn't get the courses that were my choices. Admission process is simple, pay the fees and go through all the documents and provide them to the office faculty and they will help out with admission.
Faculty
The faculty are open and ready to help whenever there is a need. We could call them or directly visit them to there cabins and they would help regarding educational. I wouldn't say particular but all the faculty members were nice and interactive.
Night Life
Hangout spots we loved wasthe canteen and by the playground. Gym was available in early morning and in the evening till 9pm. Cafeterias were open during the college timings i.e., from 9 am to 6 pm. Locality is totally safe as the college is in the vicinity of the city.
