Dislikes
- First thing is the big canteen is good but mini canteen is not clean as proper no seating system it's too rush
- Construction is going on we are in old building ventilation and window were not cleaned well
- Some lectures won't complete full syllabus they will complete only unit 1 remaining should be covered by us.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose is coding i like to code. Through real time project real world applications academic pursuits. During lab they need to give more attention and explanation needed. Frequency and timings of exams are good but for cie shortage of time we have faced. Some cie were difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Wipro,cisco, IBM, ISRO many companies offers internship with stipend is depend on the project highest stipend is 1.7lpa. I have done ethical hacking related projects and AI projects too. Outcome is about penetratesting and testing the code .
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro, google, IBM, microsoft, cisco, tcs, infosys, tech Mahindra,...etc 180+ company will offer to our college. Wipro highest package is 78 lpa and lowest is 6lpa. 90% of students getting placed. I'll go for masters and then phd.
Fees and Financial Aid
During first year I paid 1,24,000 second and third year reduced by 6000. This is overall fee. Tution fee is 60000 everything will be included in this.some of classmates who came through comedk and management have high payment for sc st 60000 management 12 lakh per year and comedk 3 lakh per year.sc st they will provide scholarship.
Campus Life
Annual fests are kannada habba, miles , garba nights , hackathon, ideathon and many fests were held . Library was too good and awesome it's my favourite place the range of books were good more than 5000+ books were available in our library. The facility of projector, smart board is good. Every year they conduct sports inter college in our campus is good .yes many students run social groups and 15 clubs in our college sap student portals facility is too helpful.
Admission
I applied to PES university BTech but I got confirmed to RV college of engineering BE in CS . The placements were good in our college compare to PES campus selection ratio is high in our college. Actually in option entry I chose RV in top 1 place directly I opted to top college My ranking was good and I have reservation too. Our college has entrance exams like CET, COMEDK and management they will pay fee directly no exam for them. CET cut off is too high according to different departments for ours 200 is maximum.for comedk 1500 to 2000 max. Admission experience is good .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good . Relationship is friendly and helpful.we can approach them at any time.Dinesh sir he's from physics department moreover he's my councellor he supported me lot during my struggle and hard time. Sowmyarani ma'am she's too rash she always cut marks based on attendance. Total 3 test best of 2 and one sem end exam 20% students fail to clear the exams.
Night Life
Gym facilities is available have to pay 500 in a college admission fee I think or every one month. Library closing time for local is 8pm and for hostellers 10 pm. Campus in timings 9-5 pm . Famous hangouts were chikpete, iskon temple outside. This locality is outskirts of banglore people are less it's safe to roam.
