Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

B.com is good for me because I am interested in commerce, B.Com covers everything in the commerce field like accounts, management, administration, law, marketing, etc. we have exams 2 times a year at the end of each semester which are around 6 months, the time for preparation is fine for me.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placement is available for 3rd-year students and they can take part in placement cells and keep in touch for placements, Students who get campus placement usually have a higher percentage around above 90. The highest package from our college was around 20 lakhs but the average is only around 3 lakhs. I plan to start a business after this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

ARSD fees for my course BCom program is around 15,000/- rupees and there is an option for economically weaker backround students to get a discount on their fees, i am not aware of the scholarship. We have a placement cell in our college that is good at what they do so no complaint, they organize fairs for placement and everything.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is nice, many students, many clubs and societies and many fairs throughout the year, we have a basketball court, table tennis court, a big ground with goal post and everything sports is amazing here, we have a team for every sport in our college. The library is huge you can get everything here. The computer labs are also nice, laptops are mostly updated and work just fine.

Admission

I took the CUET exam, in which I took English and 3 core papers for this course, my score after percentile was 714/800, I applied from the DU csas portal and filled out the preference list, and then they alloted me automatically to this college for this course. They should give students an option to choose between colleges.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty-to-student ratio is fine, I don't mind it, the teachers are enough to teach the vast amount of students. The teachers teach nicely, there is no complaint about the teachers, some teachers help the students some teachers dont. I interact with the teachers not that much but their approachability is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say, the curriculum is also good, like we have labs, and tutorial classes also, in which students get their answers and their doubts are solved. Area of improvement - There should be proper labs of python lecture classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.
