LBSITW was an amazing experience for me.Teachers there are very supportive and available at any time for us.
Canteen is also available for us from 9-5. Aunties there are very friendly and it is very neat and tidy there.
Overall i have a very good experience in LBSITW

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a vast curriculum.I chose civil engineering just because i like it and want to know more about not only buildings but dams bridges amd roads.We have frequent exams like testpapers..series exams and semester exams.Every exam is very tough and only the one with proper knowledge could pass the exam

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We merit students have a fees of around 35000 per year.but with addition to that we spent extra amount for pta and all.But we are having scholarships in many forms which we can use .Thhat help a lot. Also we have some internship program that helped earn stipend of around 5000

Campus Life

There are many club in LBSITW . There are many programs conducted by college and also college union.It is very exiting programs .we have both technical and non technical fests in college. Even students from other colleges also participate in our programs.

Admission

To be eligible for civil engineering we should have a strong base and marks on science subjects and maths.Application process was easy and admission process was also easy .But fees cannot be paid in installments

Faculty

Every teacher in LBS is having great knowledge of their subjects.They are available for us at any time.they are friendly also.They gave us emotional and mental support.We can interact with them.They usually come with animated vedios so that we can understand easily and more effectively.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

Reality of College life

My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. Other than keam exams NRI seat and spot admission are there as a few number. Cut off can vary every year depends on the number of students and their ranks....Read More
