Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum is very nice, it almost matches with top IITs, we have subjects that are industry needed and helpful for skills, and also in electives we have collaboration from top companies for industry need curriculum.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many Companies come for internships for example two are: JPMC gives role of sde intern with a stipend of 1lac per month, EbixCash gives role of MICE intern with a stipend of 25000 per month. There are many companies coming for internships.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good for cse branch , avg package going to 12 lpa above but not same for all branches , lower branches have less placements , but overall we can say that placements are average if compared to any other pvt college than placements are good.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Computer Science fees is around 2.5 lac per semester and for non-cs branches around 2.2 lac per semester and 60-70k for hostel including mess, Scholarships are easily available if you have cgpa above 9.2 or if you are from economic weaker section.

Campus Life

Overall, the experience is very nice, there is a event almost every week and very good level event , in fests also there are top artists performing , Societies are also very good for learning , there are more than 50 societies.

Admission

Admission process is very simple, directly through JEE Mains , I just filled out the Thapar application form and then the cutoff comes, round 1 is on basis of PCM% and round 2 on jee mains these are online rounds and at last we have on offline spot round.

Faculty

One lecturer takes class of 150 students, Faculty is highly educated mostly PHDs from Top IITs, but sometimes lacks in teaching skills. Some teachers are good , teachers are all good but they lack teaching skills.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Placement Experience:

My plan is to pursue masters but placements at LPU are best. Over 100 tech comapnies have tie-ups with our university and all of them are of highest regard. From Code tech to Flipkart and Google every big tech company come to our campus. Student have bagged packages close to 1 crores as well from LPU campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
