Every year many companies comes and package of average for all is around is 7-8 lacs and nearly 70-80% students gets placed every year.

Main festivals is aranya which goes 2-3days and has good programmes and events and also include a star night. Also it has sports fest,saturnalia. Most of the students participate according to their interest.

Yes thapar provides many scholarship on basis of merit and income. I got the scholarship of 62000 rs in first year.
Campus Life
Campus life is excellent u can enjoy, hav fun and every moment will be a memory for u. Gender ratio is of about 1 female for about 5 male. Labs are not good. Means the way they conduct it. But extracurricular actuvity like robotics debates,group discusion and more held every month and is quiet good.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good except pg hostels. Hostel fee varies from hostel to hostel. Its between 24000 to 45000 for 6 months and mess fee is 2200 to 4500 per month and comapred to other college mess. It serves good food.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really good, infact the alumni too. They are ready to help u guide uat any point if time leaving some instances and yes the interaction with them has made made my college life worth.
