Course Curriculum Overview
Honours course from top colleges of Delhi University influenced my decision to get graduated from there. Curriculum prepares students very well for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. Course is too good, there is need for improvement in teacher -student ratio. 2 semester exams are held in every academic year. Mid term exams are also held inbetween semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
From 2nd year onwards, students do envolve in internship opportunities. They get various job roles and different amount of stipend is paid to students according to their job role and skills . It gives students ,industry experience and enhances their skills.
Placement Experience
From 4th year, students become eligible for campus placement. Nearby companies approach students and make good no. Of offers . Average package offered is 6L/annum and highest package offered was 7.5L/annum About 60% students get placed. After getting degree,I will prepare for UPSC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is constant for students.It is quite affordable. It costs 15k yearly for tuition fees for ST students. Scholarship are available for students: NSP: for students who have completed their 12th class with minimum of 60% marks . No campus employment facility is there.
Campus Life
Being one of the top institute, festival are held very oftenly , special days and jayantis are celebrated enthusiastically. Library is very much resourceful, helpful for students. ICT based learning are used in teaching methods . Sports grounds are there ,good sports facility is there.Extracurricular activities are held very oftenly. Students have different clubs and societies for personal development.It helps in developing students character.
Admission
Eligibility: Students who have passed their 12th class with minimum aggregated marks of 50%are eligible for exam conducted by NTA (CUET). Admission process, dates and fees can be found from web or NTA portal. Reservation is available as per rules, regulations and norms of Central govt. CUET exam is conducted once in year by NTA. Difficulty of examination is moderate. Generally questions asked are based on NCERT.
Faculty
There are 70 students in each class. So, teacher -student ration for 1 class is 1 teacher for 70 students.Teachers are well qualified,their teaching methods are also effective.Teachers-, students have good relation,they approach each other oftenly.
