Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted Bachelor of Programme( history+political science) because I wanted to prepare for Civil Services in future and these subjects have imense relavence with upsc syllabus. Also at same time I can study two subjets which would help me in improving my understanding with subjects. Apart from it, it is one of the most opted and famous course of delhi university

Internships Opportunities

3.5

In 2022-2023, 85+ companies offered internship to our students in which 450+ students were participated. Famous companies which were participated are hp, Investosure, Tarvo Clan, book my show and etc & highest stipend offered was 25k last year.

Placement Experience

4

Aryabhatta College has an active placement and internship cell. Famous companies like KPMG, Google, BYJUS, ICICI also recruited our students. Highest package offered was 10LPA and average was 5LPA. Every year college organised Internship fair & it is open for all DU students. Also one can visit placement_aryabhatta for more info. I am preparing for CIVIL Services Examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

In comparison of facilities and exposures that we get from college which is helpful for overall development of personality then I think 15000 is not big amount. Annual college fees ranges between 15,000 to 30,000 varies in different courses. College has Scholarship and Fee Concession committe which helps students by giving financial assistance and it is under PMSSS also which means (complete fees is directly paid by Centre)

Campus Life

4.5

College celebrated their Annual Cultural Fest 'ELIXIR' with great joy and different Socities & Dept. also celebrated their Annual Fests. Annual Sports Day, Prize Distribution and Annual Day is also organised by College. College has 55,000+ books and a AC reading room College has new infrastructure with modern facilties like smart classes and labs which is far better than other colleges of DU.

Admission

I took admission on the basis of Percentage in Class 12th but now admissions are undertaken by marks in CUET- Exams. For application forms and date check the official website of DU (du.ac.in) and fees is paid in respective college's website. There is provision of reservation for SC, ST, OBC, Ews, and Pwd students. Also some institutes of DU are reserved only for women.

Faculty

4

No doubt, Faculty of the college is well qualified most of them are Phd. Holders and some have published their books and articles also. Old faculty don't make efforts for healthy teaching-learning process but young faculty is Excellent. I'm completely satisfied and happy with Young teachers.

Placement Experience:

The placement is decent, not extraordinary. The average package is around 4.5-5 LPA, and the highest is around 21LPA. Students become eligible during their final year. The companies that have visited are EY, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co., Deloitte, etc. Decent number of students don't sit for placements or choose higher studies instead. As for me, I plan to do an MBA after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy
