However our course i(computer science with business system ) is supported by tata consultancy serviceb( TCS ). But till here we are good that we get some sessions from tcs officer are some placement guidances are being provided by them so we are good at this course

Many of our seniors got internships from various companie like Infosys, TCS etc with an average 4 lakh per monthand also they have done many industry oriented projects using AI etc.. And also for getting high offers we should have certificates of various skills that we have knowledge in

Placements here are above average because last years highest placement is 52 lakh per annum and average package is about 15 lakh per annum. Companies like Infosys, air india, D. E shaws microsoft etc comes to this collegeand intersting is almost 90 % in computer department gets placed here

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has two types of admission here, one with state merit whose fees per year is 45000 but there is a another called management seat whose fees is 75000 and aldo there is fee waiver scheme for obc sc, st, and other various cast. Our college aldo provides various scholarships

Campus Life

The major fest here is Tech fest which is held during February to march in every year also here includes arts and sports festival. There is a large library where all kinds of study materials are available also every classrooms have their own smart board Also there is various clubs like for music, arts, social activity, reading, gaming etc...

Admission

To get into our college one must qualify kerala entrance exam KEAM for that you should atleat secure more than 75% in twelth standard after that you can apply for keam through computer centers or at akshaya centers. Difficulty of the exams are of 12th board exams, the only thing we should care is about time management

Faculty

By considering the factor that im a first year on this the faculty to student ratio and how it impacts your learning experince all matter that some of them are extra good but many are there who dont know what they are teaching

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I applied to cet, tkm, gec for branches eee and ec My first option was cet for which i couldn't get admission due to my rank. Cet requires rank below 1000. And my second option was mec (my college). MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

My cousin studied here few years back and is now working a top tech company.I applied for Cs in MSRIT and AMRITA,but the fee structure over there is too high(around 3-4 lakh per year).Here overall fee amount is equivalent the yearly fee.To get admission in MEC,a person needs to write keam exam .Three phases of allotment are held in here.At the beginning of all allotment,we could change our preferences.For CSE BATCH,CUTOFF RANK FOR merit is around 2k and Management around 3.5k .For CSBS it's around 3k for Merit and 7-8k for management....Read More

Good for social life but very minimal infrastructure and facilities

The reason I chose this college over other options were due to the prime location in which it is present and due to the city it is present in . MEC is renowned for the placement opportunities available in this college and is placed in the top 3 colleges in Kerala in terms of placemenets . The admission is based on the student's KEAM rank and this rank decides whether you get the Merit seat or management seat . For others you also have an NRI seat .
