Course Curriculum Overview

3

My first choice was to go for computer science but since you've to have a second opinion I chose electronics..and after I've looked into it..it is also branch that provides you a future job the curriculum provides many real life experiences and there are many internships, hackathon, etc to increase your skill in the particular subject or any other subject I wouldn't suggest any changes in the teaching methods but regarding curriculum it would be better if they used modern tools in every aspects The timing of exams are hard during the odd semester since they are short and doesn't give much time to study.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

As I'm a fresher I haven't looked into any internships..but I've came across some and it requires experience and only students from final year can apply. The one project I remember the faculties telling us was about the river/sea/canal cleaning machine which was made by our seniors and it worked successfully

Placement Experience

4.5

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus selection. Actiotech AGAPPENEW Amadeus Ansys Apex Semiconductor Ather energy Cadence Cognizant Compile Coreel Dct Deloitte Experion EY Factweavers Gadgeon Guidehouse HARMAN Havells Headspin HyperFace Ibm IBM Ignitarium Incture Kalkitech Kantar Keyvalue Mitsogo Mu-sigma Neoito Oracle PrevalentAI Probeplus Procsys QBurst Redbus These are some of the companies that have visited us for placements. 392 offers where made Highest package was 52 LPA and average package is 33 LPA Almost 95% students get placed every year I planned for higher education after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't came across any hikes in the fees..since for a very long it had been the same My complete tuition fees per year is 45000,bus service charge is 3000 per month and the only compulsory charges are for semester exams which is included in the tuition fees. There are many scholarships available for students such as mcm scholarship and there are student loans available. I haven't undertaken any job rules or responsibilities.

Campus Life

4

We've our technical festival named excel. It take part in every year in month of March. They provide many workshops. Almost every books required for my field are available in the library be it a magazine, question bank,PYQs. There's cricket team, football team, handball team, basketball team..and many others There are many student clubs such as debate club, music club, nss club, etc. These clubs have a very high impact on students life that it aspires us to have empathy and such emotions

Admission

The entrance is through the keam entrance exam in which there are physics, maths and chemistry(biology too if you opt for medical) I'm from Muslim community so that helped through cut off ...the cut off for my branch was 12000 I think it might be good if the admission process was completely online

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is considerably good. The faculties are highly experienced, often give advices regarding how to study accordingly ,provides good quality lectures. The interaction with the teachers can be done at any hour except when they are giving lectures to the other classes..they are close to never absent.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
