The placement cell is the key factor I liked in the college like this college is a tier 3 it provide more valuable companies in the placement
The level of teaching. good administrator are helped in making academics good

Dislikes

The campus life is not good at all.we have limitations in area for the college.
The other activities like sports are not much as promoted in the college but we will go throught the arts and sports program every year.

The growing technology in the semiconductor is the main attraction.Each and every year the government initiative to more fund inthe sector for the budgets.high paying job.one who is loved this get never bored through the lofe

Last year the senior are placed with lpa of 33 at it was the highest.most of the students get placement others go for the higher studies.on an average 5-6 is the average lpa of the college all sectors like electronics and it fieldd contribute for the placemy

Fees and Financial Aid

For this course the amount of tution fee is around 75000 per annum plus we need to have about 15000 for the first time in the first year for the pta fund collection.The one who is get more rank keam examination would get scholarship from the ex model engineering students.

Campus Life

The campus is the worst in the entire engineering college over kochi.due limitations in area Of the college.but we are contributing to it better.we went through the arts and sports every year.but all the property should take more serious.

Admission

For this course the one who score 60 % mark in the 12 examination and one who passed the keam entrance examination.one who rank is below 20k would get the admission faster and all the admition are done through merit quota.

Faculty

The good connection with the faculty is the main attraction in the model engineering College.they help in the all the research programs as well as in the placement activity.i think it's about 1:25 ratio is the faculty th students ratio

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I applied to cet, tkm, gec for branches eee and ec My first option was cet for which i couldn't get admission due to my rank. Cet requires rank below 1000. And my second option was mec (my college). MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

My cousin studied here few years back and is now working a top tech company.I applied for Cs in MSRIT and AMRITA,but the fee structure over there is too high(around 3-4 lakh per year).Here overall fee amount is equivalent the yearly fee.To get admission in MEC,a person needs to write keam exam .Three phases of allotment are held in here.At the beginning of all allotment,we could change our preferences.For CSE BATCH,CUTOFF RANK FOR merit is around 2k and Management around 3.5k .For CSBS it's around 3k for Merit and 7-8k for management....Read More

Good for social life but very minimal infrastructure and facilities

The reason I chose this college over other options were due to the prime location in which it is present and due to the city it is present in . MEC is renowned for the placement opportunities available in this college and is placed in the top 3 colleges in Kerala in terms of placemenets . The admission is based on the student's KEAM rank and this rank decides whether you get the Merit seat or management seat . For others you also have an NRI seat .
