Teaching style of faculties are good understadable
Hostel food is overall good ,and environment is good

Our College is in under the MAKAUT university and the course curriculum of makaut university is almost good , one thing of the curriculum should be improved that is in first year curriculum one of two technical subject should include

In our college two type of department available core and non core fees structure of core departments are 6000 per year and fees structure of non core department is 12000 per year.hostel fees for all the department is same and almost 90 percent of the students get SVMCM scholarship

If I say about campus life of our college then it is moderate because infrastructure of our college is not good as much I aspected but overall is all most good and here many club is available yo improve students skills

Hostel Facilities

In our college only 3rd and 4th year students are facilitied in hostel and all the girls are facilated but for 1st and 2nd year student no any hostel facilities is available, hostel fees of our college is around 30000 per yr

Hostel Fee: INR 26000 per year

Admission

Our college situated in west Bengal and a entrance exam WBJEE is conducted in here to admissions in state level college and our college ask take admissions through this examination process ,to take admissions in our college a student should do rank under 10000

Faculty

In our electrical department total number of faculties are 5 and total number of student per per year are almost 60 students ,all the faculties are almost good and students friendly , all of them are treat students as their own family menbers

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

A brief overview of RKMGEC

The main reason students come to this college is because of the fact that fees are affordable and also this is purely government college. Admission process is quite easy you need all the necessary documents (Aadhar, Pan, etc) along with your WBJEE scorecard and rankcard.
