Likes

Campus life is really great here , sports facilities etc.
hostel facilities are really nice and mess food is also good .
placement opportunities is very nice with a average and median package of 12 lpa and 10 lpa

Dislikes

fees is very high here which is the worst part here .
batch size is very lage , about 200 student in a lecture class.
intake of student is very high here , 2500 students per year

Course Curriculum Overview

course curriculum is very relevent and comprehensive , you need to score good like 9.7+ to get good scolarship (100%) in first year there are two pools like A ,B in which students are divide with 5 subjects each (physics ,chemistry, math, ed ,profcom , environment etc)

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

intership opportunites are great here you can get internship in many companies like jp morgan , google , amazon , paypal, microsoft, apple (yes you heard right apple also came here to hire students as intern) . adobe etc.

Placement Experience

placements opportunities is quite good , with a average package of 12 lpa , and a median apckage of 10 lpa , which is quite good as compared to most of the private and government colleges . if you maintain 8.5 + cgpa changes are high to get placed in good comany , companies like jp morgans , google , microsoft, adobe , apple etc visit here

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is very high here which is about 250000 per semester as tution fees and 56500 for a good ac room hostel and 22000 as mess fees . if you get a cgpa above 9.7 + you can get 100% tution fees scolarship

Campus Life

Campus life is really amzing , there are many sports facilities here like badminton court , cricket ground, basket ball courts , swimming pool , running track (400m) ,lawn tennis, football ground ,etc there are many indoor games like esports, chess , table tennis etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is really mazing , mess food is really good . menu get regulary changes after every month as per students suggestions, in a room you get a almira wooden , study table , bed , shoe rack and a dustbin , there are also rented houses near the college so student can get a pg there.

Hostel Fee: INR 56500 per year

Admission

admission process is based on 2 ways either through jee mains or boards , 50 % trough jee mains 50% through boards and 50% punjab quota and 50% outside intake application form fees is about 1500 and last date to apply is generally 8 may.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
